"Loved the Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel! Great location! So easy to get there from the JJ Kavanaugh bus stop. Well-located in town to see the castle and walk by the river. Friendly service in every encounter. T he hotel was charming. Room was exactly as pictured. The only thing was that it was unseasonably warm in Kilkenny during our stay & our non- air conditioned room was on the top floor. You could feel the heat rise as we approached our room. The room was equipped with both a ceiling and a desk fan, so that helped. We loved having live music at the bar in the hotel. It was so easy. It had the local feel that we were looking for. Clean and comfortable. We would stay here again for certain. "

"This hotel was pretty much booked up when we got there to check in. The room they gave us was not what I had reserved and when we went back down to the front desk they very happily fixed the issue by up grading us to a bigger better room. It was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel nicely located to make the city very walkable. "
