"They put me in the old building in a very run down room...not matching your photos...and very noisy near front on main road....they changed room but stayed in old building of astoria hotel with less noise but still a run down room and bathroom, as the new hotel building is across the street..."

The much vaunted evening buffet was of a comparable condition having been prepared well in advance of anticipated dining times. Equally the breakfast lacked the freshness of immediate preparation. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful but I suspect needing more guidance in their roles. "
