The property is currently under renovation. That did not impact my stay at all. The room was small but was well appointed, nice big TV, fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea making provided, bathroom was renovated and had a great shower head. Bed was queen size and super comfortable so I had an excellent nights sleep. I had my dinner (good food) in my room which the staff delivered. All in all very happy with my stay and definitely not expensive.

It was annoying trying to initially find the property because it has been named the same as another lodge just down the road a bit, so that was where I went first, and then had to come back. The shower was a little in need of updating, as the water pressure was not great. All other facilities were lovely and clean and lovely friendly staff. Thank you

The property needs updating. I found the bed very hard which aggravated my back. There is no breakfast available at the property. The property is close to the club and pub which has great food.

We are sorry to hear the bed was not comfortable for you, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate beds that specifically appeal to each guest. We have recently had a change-over in management which means we are also renovating and updating all areas that there may be lack. We hope this does not hinder your desire to book with us in future. Our restaurant currently has no staff, but as soon as we can we will have it up and running again.

We really loved the soft mattress, very unlike other motels!! It was so comfy to get into after a big day of sport!!!! Also the toaster and mini kitchen!!

It's peaceful no traffic noise very comfortable. The only trouble I had was with the hot water but it has been fixed 😊

Motel felt old and neglected, had paid less at other properties which presented much better. Felt like it was not just a motel but a boarding house. Empty beer cans and rubbish could be seen from some of the 1st floor rooms

We stayed at this hotel with a boys sports team for a carnival weekend. When we got back to room after several games there was no hot water in the showers - as in no water pressure from the hot water tap. It was only marginally better in the morning, luke warm showers with not much pressure. The room was otherwise adequate for what we needed

We loved the handy position the establishment was in. It served our purpose very well. We loved the bed, extremely comfortable. We gad a good nights sleep. The shower was a let down. Mould growing on the hob of the recess and bottom row of wall tiles. Shower recess floor had soap stuck to it from a previous visitor. No water and no hot water for the morning shower. Just a little bit more attention to detail in house keeping and the stay would have scored higher.
