The cottage was clean and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, kayaks, a small selection of kids toys and a gorgeous dock on the lake. We (Mom, Dad, 10 and 8) stayed for a week and enjoyed swimming in the lake, having snacks at high rock, kayaking around Lake Bernard, and looking for frogs and turtles. "My family had an amazing stay at The Shores of Deer Lake. The property was clean and quiet. There was a lot of space for my daughter and dog to play. Having the lake as our backyard was amazing. Bonus.. there was the perfect little beach just steps away from our door. The water was warm and calm enough to canoe and kayak in. We also met some amazing people which made our stay even more memorable. We will definitely be booking again."

"My family, and I all had an amazing time, we would absolutely stay here again!One of the things we appreciated most was how well organized everything was. The cabinets and storage areas were labeled, which made it easy to find what we needed without having to search around. The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with basic essentials. Communication with the host was excellent. One feature we especially loved was the gated balcony leading down. Since we had my dog with us, the gate gave us peace of mind. She could relax outside with us without us having to worry about her wandering off. The property itself is so cozy, and the surrounding area is peaceful and gorgeous. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!"
