  • Beautiful 4400+ Square feet custom built home that comes with 350' of premier sandy lake superior shoreline. 4 bedrooms-- with 10 beds (4 Full size, 5 queen, to 1 King), 2 sectionals, 2 futons, etc... 4 Bathrooms (3.5 baths, including one custom clawfoot bathtub), a porch, fireplace, fire ring, and a beautiful kitchen. Please come and check out this secluded slice of Heaven located at the end of a 3 mile gravel road.

    This house is a great opportunity to bring together loved ones and enjoy quiet time secluded on 10 acres just 20 miles from downtown Duluth. This property abounds with million dollar views, wildlife, and stars you can't imagine. Come spend time with your group on the beach or in the spacious main house around a fire on a cold winters' eve.

    Bottom line. this is the perfect property for your family vacation. The only other residents on our road are retired, so we prefer to cater to family gatherings to enjoy our beautiful serenity and the north woods, slow-paced, lifestyle.

    If you are looking for weddings or large gatherings, we own the property right next door-- Combining the two we can accommodate 30-35 people in our 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. If you're interested in learning more, please let us know. Would love to help you accommodate your group :)

Peaceful and great location!

House was very large and had something for everyone. There was 11 of us and 7 were teenagers. Beach was beautiful! Great location if you are looking to explore Madeline Island and Duluth area.

Great for large group!

We stayed here with a youth group for a conference and loved the feel of this house, it had room for sleeping plenty, and the beds were super comfy! Would stay here again for sure!

Family trip

Incredible views and a great space to gather our family to celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday and Easter. It’s a little further out from town but you will not regret the drive, the view and lake access make it all worth it! Updated home with lots of space and cozy fireplace.

Great for large groups

This property was perfect for our family. Plenty of space to be together. The kids enjoyed the dart board, Pac-Man game and the ping pong table. The location was rural but close enough to Duluth for day trips. We hope to visit again soon!

Ski trip

We were in the area for a ski/snowboarding trip and wanted a place we could all fit in together. The kids were amazed at the many rooms and staircases and we all enjoyed the common room with the TV, fireplace and dartboard! Great stay for our 3 families totaling 13 people.

Privacy on Superior Shore

Our family enjoyed this spacious house in an extremely private setting. Our beach time was wonderful - sun sand, rock collecting and driftwood and clay crafts. The kids kept busy for hours.

Family long weekend near Duluth

This is a great property with lots of room right on Lake Superior! Kris is a super host and was very helpful with any questions we had. Home is close to a state park, and a short drive to Superior. Beds were comfortable and it was just a nice gathering spot for our family. Kids loved the catwalk!

Spacious Fun and Peaceful

Kris was super responsive and helpful! The property is tucked away in a very peaceful corner right on lake Superior. We had a full house and it was definitely large enough to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended if you have a large group!

Roomy family house with lake access

This is unique property has a lot of room to spread out. The dining room table is ideal for large groups. The sandy beach area is a good spot to check on the wiles of Lake Superior. The river area (just a ten minute walk away) is better for stone skipping, fires, etc. There are only two showers, which takes some coordination for a big group. We enjoyed seeing the waterfalls at Amnicon Falls and Pattison State Parks as well as a day trip to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands.

Great for family gatherings

This place was very spacious and cozy. Beds were comfy and towels were fluffy. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and dishware. It had rained quite a bit when we were there so it made it a bit more difficult to get down to the lake (muddy and slick). The kids were addicted to the Pac-Man game! I think there could be some improvement on cleaning details but overall it was mostly good and I would recommend staying at this place

Excellent!!

We held a family bachelorette party for my daughter. There we 13 women ages from 24-65. The house was perfect. Large enough for us to sit and play games and also sneak away to a quite place. The kitchen was perfect. The house was clean and the beds were fantastic. All 13 women were very happy and impressed with the property. The host was very responsive. I would recommend this for large family gatherings. Thanks for the memories. :)

Family gathering Thanksgiving weekend.

This home has room for everyone to gather for games and meals at a huge table that can seat 12. We loved that. You also can spread out if you want to chill by yourself and take in the views. During our visit it was cold outside so the fireplace was fabulous. PacMan game was so fun. We mostly loved the short walk through the trees down to the beach on Lake Superior. Love this place and really, the drive from Duluth didn't take too long. We noticed some repair is needed to the ping pong table in the garage, but we didn't use it anyways. Thanks for sharing this home!

3 generation family vacation

If you like things in the wilderness and quiet, this is a nice place. Many animals to watch.We were disappointed with accuracy of the listing. Listing says there is a playground, this would of been nice. No playground.Listing states there is a ping pong table, paddles and balls but no table.Property was large but yard was small, this was hard with small children.Listing states fire pit, so we brought wood. There is a fire ring but it is in a small clearing down steep path to lake, not practical location-looks like has never been used.There was about 1 foot between water and woods with several logs in way, making beach difficult to use.There was a beach that was nice withing walking distance.

Family Birthday

This was a great property for large family sizes. We had young kids 1-4 years old and we all had a blast. The kids loved the large space to play. The many bedrooms made it easy for a quiet nap place. The large kitchen and living room was perfect for accommodating our group. We also enjoyed almost countless hours playing in the water by the lake. It was so beautiful. The host was responsive with questions, kitchen was fully stocked, and beds were very comfortable. The only con was slow internet (we knew this before arriving and downloaded a few movies for the kids) and secondly the house is located at the end of a gravel road (not a big deal but my car will need a good bath). We hope to be back next year.
