Great house within walking distance to the beach

This place was perfect for our family beach vacation. The house had everything we needed and was walking distance to the beach, which was sparsely populated even on a Saturday afternoon.

Great stay!

Our family of 4 stayed 7/16-7/20/2018 at the Endless Summer house. We had a great time, the house was comfortable and the pool was nice when we didn't want to go to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and we overall had a relaxing vacation.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS HOUSE!

This was the perfect small but roomy house for me and my friends! it was so beautiful and quiet in The Shores, we had our own swimming pool and just walked across a private drive to go to the beach. This was our first time renting a private house instead of a condo on the island and we loved it!

Great house on our own private beach

This house was the perfect place for our family vacation with three children, 4 and under. The beach was a short walk across a beach access walkway, and the beach was far from the touristy area, so it felt like our own private escape. It was great to jump in the pool after a long day at the beach. The house was comfortable and charming. We also appreciated all of the extras that we found including a crib, beach chairs, beach toys, bicycles and more.

Run Sea Turtles Run!

This was our first time to the island. I had no idea how beautiful and intimate it is. We were thrilled to find out that a sea turtle nest was hatching during our vacation. Even the teenager got out of bed to watch. As the sun was rising we watched the turtles go! This is a great place to say. I enjoyed the balcony.. the pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor - just be aware you have to climb stairs.

Great location just needs upkeep

The location was perfect, private and quiet. The walk to the beach was short and minimal people were there. A few things needing improvement included the AC giving a sewer like odor. We called for maintenance and they informed us they would come by Sunday morning but never did. We were told to put water down the drain which helped the smell go away. The microwave was missing the entire top part of the door and the garbage disposal did not work. The pool was a decent size and it had a shower to rinse off near it, however the restrooms were upstairs so you had to go up when you were down in the pool. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves. It was spacious and in a great location just needed some upkeep.

Great location. One of the best in South Padre

Great house, close to the water, everything in great shape. Pet friendly but make sure you contact the owner if you will have pets since house rules and contract say pets not allowed. Pet deposit required.

Isolation vacation

We had a great time at this property. It is in a quiet and secluded community which is what we were looking for during the pandemic. The access to the beach was close and easy. You could fish on the beach or on the bay side. The neighborhood was great for biking. We spent a lot of our time in the backyard pool. It was perfect size and shaded in the afternoon. This house was also pet friendly which we appreciate very much. The only negative is that there is some general wear and tear of furniture and of the house which might need to be updated in the future. Overall, we had a lovely time and would stay here again.

Great family stay

Lovely location, easy beach access, super easy check-in, manager incredibly responsive. Humid salt environment is hard on structures, so its not a new building, but overall would come back. It was perfect for our family. Away from the crowds, had the beach mostly to ouselves.

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at Endless Summer. It was the perfect size home for our family of 4. Very close to the beach and the pool was great. While the house could use a little TLC, we enjoyed every minute of our trip and wished we would have stayed a day or 2 longer. The neighborhood was very quiet and the private beach access lent itself to very few people on the beach. The house was stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils to cook with, plenty of towels for bathing, and more than enough beach and pool toys. Thanks for a great stay!

Very, VERY NICE House in great location - worth it!

This is a top tier home in the nicest area on S. Padre Island. It's on the Ocean facing side of the main road. The neighborhood is private and gated. Everything about the place is "beach house" - and it's very tastefully decorated. You have access to the private Tennis courts / private community pool (across the main road from the neighborhood) in addition to your own private pool behind the house that has beautifully maintained landscaping. The pools were clean and the community pool had an on duty security guard while we were there. The beach is right across the street within the private neighborhood and there's a very neat walkway that takes you out to it (this walkway entrance is diagonally across the street from the house) - so you don't have to trudge through a ton of dunes / sand to get there. Also, on the way back in from the beach there's a foot and body shower on the walkway to clean off the sand, which was nice. Each room has a private bathroom with shower so everyone can get ready at the same time. If you're into cooking - it's got just about everything you could need already furnished there. Yes, they have a blender - if by "cooking" you immediately think of cooking up some frosty daiquiri's! If you're not into cooking, hit the brewery for Pizza or Cap'n Roy's for a great cheap meal. Have fun!

Girls Getaway!

We had a wonderful time! We were looking for rest and relaxation, good food, and just some quality good conversation and catching up with good friends! We were definitely able to do that and more in the comfort of this home! Kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are spacious and clean, Views of beach and bay from the home is beautiful! It rained on us but we did have one great day of sun and took a lot of pictures. We are already planing to stay here again next year! Thanks for being so easy to work with of See you next year! We had a light bulb go out on us on the balcony, called Franke that evening and she had someone there the following morning replacing that bulb! Thanks again!
