Our condo is thoughtfully equipped with baby-friendly amenities to make your stay as convenient as possible. We provide a changing table, portable play yard, baby bath, child-friendly utensils, a high chair, and a selection of children's books. Whether you’re here for a short visit or an extended stay, we've got everything you need to make your little ones feel right at home.

Guest Access:
All Tiki Condos overseen by La Copa Vacations feature digital keypad locks. After you've submitted all necessary paperwork and settled your fees, you'll receive an email from La Copa Vacations. This email will include detailed entry instructions and a unique code to access your condo, which will expire at 11am on your departure date.

The Neighborhood:
The Tiki Condominiums, right next to Bar Louie and Beach Bar at Courtyard by Marriott, are a gateway to South Padre Island’s finest, including Barry’s Bistro and On the Border Tex-Mex Cantina & Bar. Within walking distance are Clayton’s Beach Bar, Sea Turtle Inc., and the Birding and Nature Center. Close proximity to boat docks, the Convention Center, and the kite-boarding area 'the flats' makes The Tiki a prime location for island activities.

Getting Around:
Easily explore South Padre Island with the complimentary South Padre Island Metro, providing convenient access to various parts of the island. Plus, take advantage of the 'Park and Ride' facility located in the south of town. Additionally, Gulf Blvd. is known for its bike-friendly pathways, offering another hassle-free transportation option for your island escapades.

Other Things to Note:
Enjoy complimentary breakfast every morning for two at Sand Rose Resort, located at 7000 Padre Blvd.

Pets are welcome for an extra charge of $50 plus taxes per pet.

Toucans Retreat

We always enjoy our stays at The Tiki. The condos are clean, and have everything we need for a comfortable vacation.The grounds are beautifully maintained, as well as the buildings. Hershal's condo is clean, cozy and very clean.We would definitely stay here again.

-Zero communication from owner -No bedroom door -Stickers everywhere in the dog area so that the dogs drag them back into the house. They got into our feet and other guests feet too. -Refrigerator water does not work -Ceiling fan in bedroom, sending a little pieces of dirt all over the bed -super scratchy old extra bedding for sofa -really old uncomfortable sitting room chairs

There were no doors on the bedroom. The shower did not put out hot water. The wifi didnt work reliably at all. The TV was huge but strangely placed in the bedroom and did not have Netflix. The kitchen lights flicker like a murder movie. The AC is extremely loud when running. Like being on an airplane. The pools were fun. The beach is close by and there are fireworks on Fridays and Saturdays.

The house smelled musty and moldy - Very Moist -

The house smelled musty and moldy - Very Moist - after having the HVAC on several days the smell was a bit less, there was mold in the ceiling in a closet, the Microwave rusty and looked burnt, the toaster oven rusty, the shower road was rusty, the ice maker didn't work, the faucets for the bath sink and the shower were chemical burnt from cleaning supplies. The couch appeared to have some kind of issue possible broken frame . The. bed not comfortable at all. The linens were cleaned but smelled like mildew. There were several bugs in the room the first day. We had to stretch out the water line to the toilet it was kinked and water did not fill the toilet the first time we used it. We cough while in the room as a result of the mildew and our allergies. - All our items brought home - made our house smell - we washed everything, suite cases, ice chests, pillows, blankets, clothes, towels everything items that were clean and dirty items to remove the musty smell. AS a VRBO owner - We leave our HVAC on to keep down the moisture air from mildewing our home, we use damp rid and charcoal also for smell and moisture. I would not recommend this particular VRBO Unit. The Grounds were beautiful - the property had beach access, and fireworks Friday and Saturday. Staff Friendly - although we had to check in to two different places which was odd,

Quiet Location

Overall, it was average. It’s an older complex that is well kept. The unit is updated but there was a musty smell, probably from it being an older unit, so we had to open the sliding doors to air it out. The patio is not private, people do walk by, but it’s close to the parking lot. Bring your pillows, they only provide three small flat ones. The location is good if you want away from the noise and traffic of the middle of the Island. Still within walking distance of restaurants. Beach access is good.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tiki Condominiums. It felt like home. The heated pools were great and the court yard was very pretty.

Padre Experience

Very good location and unit was perfect for dog access to grounds right off The patio. Complex has beautiful landscaping but the condo itself needs some TLC. Suggest putting knobs on bathroom cabinets instead of having just the screws sticking out and replace the rusted black shower rod. Also unit could provide more than just one kitchen towel and wash cloth for guest. Bedroom electric fireplace was a very nice feature. Would stay again simply for the great doggy access.

Simple & comfortable little condo...

The condo is well kept and clean, overall a pleasant stay. We were so happy we were able to bring our dogs as well, the little yard area gave us easy convenient access to let them potty and we enjoyed the view of the well kept grounds/garden in the mornings while having a cup of coffee out on the balcony.

Smelly

As soon as we walked in there was a musty smell that is still in everything that we had inside this place. We burned candles to cover the smell but it returned. Great location and management quick to take care of the couple things that we needed
