This 2nd floor condo oceanfront escape overlooks the gentle sounds of the Gulf… within 50 feet of your balcony. Pets welcome!

Enjoy the morning sunrise from your King bed… or breakfast on the balcony… even from the guest queen sofa bed in this beautifully appointed condo at the Tiki Condominium. Located 4 miles from the Queen Isabella causeway, Wake to the Waves features a full kitchen, full bath, King Bed, and sofa couch that sleeps 2 w/ cable, HD TV, free wifi, free parking, community BBQ grills on the grounds, and washer and dryers in the complex.

Close to the best available on South Padre. Perfect for singles, couples, families with small children and seniors looking for an ocean front experience. Remember, we are pet friendly, and so is the South Padre Beach…which is right out your door!

Rates vary from $99 off season, to $265 per night during peak summer holidays. Minimum 3 nights. Discounts for weekly, monthly and long term rentals… and last minute rentals. State and local sales taxes are 17%. Additional payment will be required.

A True Gem

What a great place to stay. It is exactly as described, very well appointed and very tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed to comfortably enjoy our stay. The location is perfect. We would have our breakfast on the deck and listen/watch the surf. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Definitely a place we will visit again and its location on the island was perfect for us. Thank you for taking the time for being so thoughtful and gracious.

Quiet Party

My husband and I booked this property as a birthday weekend getaway. The condo was beautiful and clean, with a great view of the ocean. It was steps away from the beach and had two clean, warmed pools on the property. The property was right next to a big bar and we were left undisturbed, with the doors closed you wouldn’t even know it was there. We were able to enjoy the music from the balcony. The view of the sunrise was spectacular and we will definitely be visiting again.

Best vacation yet

This is the most beautiful condo!!!!! Place was clean and tbe bed was suoer comfortable. Best part was being able to go either from the living room or bedroom to the balcony to sit and watch the ocean. We will definitely be back next year.

Working with Waves

We’ve been coming to SPI every year after school is out to spend a week, dogs and kids, working and playing at the beach. We’re so fortunate to have remote jobs and we try to take advantage as much as possible. Wake to the Waves was our favorite by far. Cheryl and the crew at complex was super responsive. The unit was clean and well stocked. The pull out and bed were both comfy. The view was awesome and we all enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the porch overlooking the gulf. Looking forward to booking Wake at the Waves again!

A fantastic find

Fabulous location, as the listing pictures show. (They’re legit!) The place was well-decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed to make full meals. Bathroom was quite nice. No shortage of beach chairs in the closet. Balcony was sizable and provided great views and comfort. The facility had two decent pools (great temperature for night swimming in December, at least in the opinion of this Midwestern family) and we always were able to find open laundry machines in the central building (the washer and dryer are not in the condo, but just a quick walk away). Our small dog loved the stay, too. Plenty of green space near the condo for quick potty breaks and it was so nice to take him for walks down the beach, just steps from the condo. Lone wish was that the master bed had a boxspring or slightly more support. A small wish, and nothing that would detract from our overall rating. We’d stay again for sure!

Perfect little beach condo !

We had a wonderful time and couldn’t be happier with the condo! The management was easy to deal with too, very friendly and helpful. Loved the comfy bed, which is rare in rentals. It was tastefully decorated, and had good quality furnishings. (My daughter loved the fish in the bedroom and named him Gary haha). You can tell the owner cares about her guests with little touches like beach supplies, spices, games and so on. My kiddo enjoyed being able to watch her Netflix cartoons on the TV. I could have cooked anything in the wonderfully stocked kitchen, and the dishes were so cute ! I liked the Tiki as well, excellent location and loved the fireworks view. Also enjoyed the music next door while outside in the evenings, but it was quiet with the doors closed. No party atmosphere, mostly families around and everyone was respectful. The chairs on the balcony were very comfy. Beach chair rentals right out front was a nice perk too. It’s an older building but this condo was nicely renovated, and the grounds are well kept. The inside was very clean, except the shower floor corners could use a good scrubbing. The only thing I would suggest is a small broom or dust pan set for day-to-day tidying without having to break out the vacuum, and maybe a luggage stand for the closet. Also there was only one hand towel and 2 wash cloths. I imagine those things can easily get lost so just an FYI to the owner. I’m already day dreaming about coming back to this peaceful getaway ! Highly recommend!

The condo was very beautiful and clean inside. The only issue we had was we lost internet to condo for two nights and the toilet was barely flushing and then stopped. I messaged the owner to let her know so she could get the amenities fixed before the next person visited the condo. Loved the close access to the beach and despite previous reviews, we really cannot hear the bar on the other side of the hotel next to us. The hotel next to us did play music but they wrapped it up by 11 o’clock each night. The the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom were very nice and looked brand new. The pictures on the website don’t justify how beautiful the condo was. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
