Great vacation at SPI

Great location, view, amenities, safe, and altogether a great stay here! First time travelling with our 9 month old and it was perfect, although she wasn't ready for the sand No doubt would come back again, thank you Diann and Roccy!

The perfect stay

A gorgeous property on the perfect beach for children and adults. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was extremely comfortable, the beds were sleeping on a cloud, and the decor was coastal perfection! The owners are responsive and helpful. All in all, the perfect stay for the family - parents, kids, and grandparents! Can't wait to go back next year!

Everything you need

The property is beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a lovely family meal. The living area is large and will accommodate family and guests. Other family members also staying in Ocean Vista thought ours was the nicest.

Amazing time with family

This is a beautiful place to stay with your family. Everything was as described and pictured. 12th floor views of both sunrise and sunset are awesome. The long balcony with so many chairs was a huge selling point for us to be able to have so many of our family sitting out looking at the beautiful ocean views. We plan to be back again in the future. Great Place at SPI

This condo is exactly as the pictures. Additionally there are many useful things for a comfortable stay at the beach: chairs, beach cart, beach towels and so on. Would definitely come back.

Awesome condo and complex!

We stayed 3 nights for a family beach trip and it was so perfect! It was so clean, so beautifully decorated, perfect location, wonderful condo building and complex, well-equipped kitchen and supplies, and the beds were SO AMAZING! I'd love to know what kind of mattress was in the master!

Family getaway

Family of 7 flew into Harlingen. Spent 5 days in rental. Weather was nice but windy. Condo was terrific ! Location was perfect.

Memories Made!

The property was all it was described as. Ocean Vista personnel were very friendly. Very clean complex. We enjoyed our ocean side deck, with beautiful furniture to relax in! Heated kiddie pool was awesome for the Grandbaby! Well equipped for a week of fun!

Great experience!

Room was FANTASTIC! Very clean, awesome view of the beach and pool. Very close to the elevator, so there is some elevator noise, but that is not a beg deal (certainly not a ‘deal breaker’). I hope to return next year, and hope I can get this same room.

Fun for the whole family

From the moment we pulled into the condo parking area, we could tell we were in the right place. Location was close to main street and many restaurants and activities. When we opened the door to our condo, the view was breathtaking and absolutely amazing from the top floor. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and was well stocked with towels and beach toys for our kids. The entire property was well maintained, including the pool and hot tub area. Despite some storms and a tornado warning, we were able to spend quality time on the beach, while also checking out all the island had to offer. We look forward to our next stay on SPI! Thank You!

Excellent SPI condo

So happy with our experience. Stayed for 6 nights with 4 adults and 6 children. Easy access to beach, restaurants, and groceries. Incredible views! Only changes would be on my part- should have asked where the extra sheets for the pullout couch were located and if they had pack and play available for toddler (they do!) rather than us lugging ours.

Beautiful view

This condo was beautiful and location was also a huge plus walkable to shopping and restaurants. Loading and unloading is great and so is check in process super easy. The complex has a nice office staff and staff. There are a few cons, master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced very uncomfortable caused sore backs, the shower heads are all very cheap-basic need to be upgraded, work out facility was more like a closet had one working treadmill, and the elevator is extremely loud. Lastly the pool is so cold unable to use.

Best one yet!

This is just as it was described. It fit our needs perfectly. The grounds were well maintained. The unit itself was clean and nice added detailed touches, like good towels and nice sheets. Communication was great too. We will definitely be back again. We have been coming to SPI for over 20 years and this was probably one of the best stays. Thank you for sharing your home.

Loved our stay!

The property is as described and the pictures are accurate. We loved our stay. The condo is in a great location for families. The parking for extra cars was confusing, it states extra cars have to park outside of the gate but that is not the case. They can park inside the gate just not in the numbered spaces. Not a complaint just a little confusing. The pool was clean as they clean it daily. We have no complaints. Very beautiful property.

Great location and lots of space

We had a group of 8 family members ranging in ages from 20s to 70s. There was plenty of space for us to hang out together, but also space when we needed to be alone. Easy access for parents who are elderly. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the great views of the beach and ocean. Easy private access to the beach and the property provided lots of beach chairs and towels. The property management were very quick to respond with any questions or issues. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting South Padre Island again.

Great Condo and Great Location

The condo was great. It had a really good layout, spacious balcony, good kitchen layout and storage space. Also, location is centrally located with a short walk to the beach and a number of restaurants within walking distance. Upon arrival, we discovered that the water to the refrigerator dispenser and ice maker was not working, the hosts and property manager were very responsive to get things resolved. The only issue was that the elevator was quite noisy (unit is on the top floor) and could be herd in the condo. Only other improvement would be that the hot tub jets were a bit lacking in both water/air flow.

Family vacation at South Padre

This place is so awesome! 3 bedrooms, 3 separate baths! Kitchen is huge, the place is decorated so nice. The views were awesome. Everything was furnished. The kitchen supplies were fantastic, pots, pans etc. including utensils. The beach is right there and the complex is maintained perfectly. It was really quiet and close to so much! You could walk to the grocery store, cafe and coffee shop! Parking was easy and great. We felt very secure! If I had to search for any improvement it would be to have a full size ironing board. The owners are so nice! We will be a return renter again! Thanks so much for the great place! Anyone looking for perfection, right on the beach, look no further!

Wonderful unit in a great area

We loved seeing the beach from our unit. Plenty of room for three couples, each having their own private bathroom. All the amenities we could ask for and many restaurants within walking distance to the condo. Only downside is it is across from the elevator and the noise from the lift is noticeable from two bedrooms. Luckily no one is riding it overnight, so it was quiet to sleep. Could use a few more comfy chairs and remove the bench in the living room. Parking was easy in the almost empty covered garage and there were still spots outside there as well. Always felt safe at night. Spring breakers were not an issue, maybe we were too early, but I think the condo is far enough away from the main area for them. Overall, a great choice to stay in South Padre.
