Locates on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood along a private farm. Plenty of privacy yet close enough to the town. 20 minutes away from Manchester. Great house for all seasons. Summer time close to several ponds and streams. During the winter just a 10 minutes drive to Stratton and Bromley Ski mountains and 5 minutes to Magic Mountain. Deck with a hot tub with plenty of seating area to enjoy Vermont's beauty.

Great ski house

We stayed for MLK weekend to ski Stratton. The house is a very convenient, 15min drive from the mountain. The hot tub was great to relax after skiing. Check-in and check-out were easy. The owner asks that you bring your own sheets, which we did. Not a big deal but good to know before booking.

Nice Family house close to ski resorts

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The hot tub and fireplace added a cozy touch, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Despite the house description explicitly stating that sheets and towels were included, we were surprised to find that we had to bring our own. The property met expectations, but this discrepancy should be addressed for future guests' clarity and satisfaction.

Great spot and house

Plenty of space, clean, 2 nice bathrooms, lots of beds, good kitchen, plenty of room to hang out, pretty area, easy check in/check out. Close to 3 good ski resorts. Perfect spot for a group of 6-10.

What a Fantastic Weekend!

This house was the perfect place for my family, and my best friends family, to spend the weekend. We have three kids, 9,13,15 and they have a 13 year old. The plan was to spend Friday and Saturday at Stratton, but the negative temperatures (it was -20 one night with a wind chill of -45) made us adjust...and honestly the house and location made the weekend even better than we could have imagined. The location is private, and there are hills right out the front door for the kids to sled on. My son built a few jumps and we went snowboarding right where we were. And when the cold was too much we could head in for a bit. The boot/glove dryer/warmer had enough space for at least 5 pairs of boots and gloves. Plenty of space inside for everyone to spread out and relax. Watch a movie in the living room....the windows and views put you right into vacation mode (and the floors are heated!) or play board games in the room with the wood stove. The hot tub is large and an easy walk in the cold from the front door. The home was super cozy and warm. My daughter cried when we left because she had so much fun and the kids were begging to see if we could stay another day. We did get on the mountain when it warmed up on Sunday...and it rounded out one the best weekends we have ever had together as a family in Vermont. We have amazing memories and are looking forward to renting again!

Tidy and comfortable place. Enough space for 8 of us to have a good time. A coffee maker would be ideal to have for the guests, rather than all the waste and time with K cups. Hot tub and wood stove worked great. Boot dryer was a nice bonus. Would certainly stay here again.

Cozy and warm

There were 6 of us and 2 kids and this house handled us well. Everything was comfortable from linens, beds were super comfortable, and the sun room was so relaxing to just chill and drink your morning coffee. It was stacked with all the kitchen amenities your group could need, spices, coffee and more. They have legos and some toys to keep our little ones occupied. The hot tub was a bonus after a day of riding. 5 mins from Magic and 15 from Stratton. Would def rent this place again.

Vermont Family House

The house was clean and spacious for our family of five. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were comfortable. It’s very close to Stratton, so we were able to enjoy the comfort of a home when not skiing. I rated the listing as 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the nightly rate was high for the listing, but our rental was over a holiday. I would stay here again, though.
