A charming fenced in corner lot perfectly suited for family fun. A long driveway accommodates plenty of on site parking along with a half court basketball area for shooting hoops.

Additional amenities include an adorable playhouse filled with children's furnishings and crafts for endless playtime. A spacious backyard with two newly designed seating areas that include picnic table seating, chaise lounge chairs, fire pit, new Weber grill and patio furniture.

This home is just a five minute walk to Lake Michigan, Kids Corner playground and historic downtown South Haven. Take time to enjoy South Haven shopping, restaurants, movie theater, Farmer's Market and historical charm.

Three upstairs bedrooms, two rooms with queen beds and third room with one set of bunk beds and a twin. The downstairs bedroom contains a queen pull out sofa.

Enjoy the Kal-Haven bike trial with it's many scenic stops and picturesque beauty. Several bikes are provided for your pedaling enjoyment. Wagon, beach umbrella and corn hole provided in the garage.

Towels and linens provided, please bring your own beach towels.

This Lake House was the perfect location for a long weekend stay. We loved the proximity to the playground/lake, and a highlight for our kids was the backyard playhouse. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable!

Overall a great experience ,they had 4 bikes available ,bags ,badminton and much more,the wagon came in real handy as we used it to haul all our stuff to the beach .Quiet neighborhood and great backyard with a gas grill .

Stayed at this property with family and really enjoyed ourselves! Great location to both the beach and downtown and the yard was fantastic! Plenty of beach equipment, bikes and games to enhance our stay! Lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay in this South Haven home.ProsCheck in/out process was really smoothWagon/beach toys provided in garageVery cleanBackyard playhouse very nice for littlesConsNo dishwasherGarage cannot accommodate midsize/large SUVSuggested improvementWay too much furniture/musty books in living room and the furniture looks/feels like hand me downs. We put blankets on the old green leather couch because it was gross. For 425/night, I'd setup the living room with a quality sectional.

Cute cozy home, close to the beach!

Very cute home, clean, comfortable beds and beautiful outdoor areas. The grounds are manicured and everything was in bloom and beautiful. The proximity to the beach was great- just a few blocks down. Loved the added touch of beach chairs to take to the beach and the master porch in the morning for coffee.

Had a great stay with our children and their spouses. The house is roomy, tidy and nicely decorated. We had plenty of space to gather indoors or outdoors for fun family time. We walked to the beach everyday and again in the evening for the beautiful South Haven sunsets! The neighborhood is great and the few blocks walk to the beach was safe and lovely. The house had everything we needed and didn't feel at all like a hotel or a modern staged rental home. The owners communication was the best I have experienced and we felt right at home. Thanks so much! The whole family loved it and we hope to book this place again for future family vacations. This property is a gem!

We had a wonderful time in South Haven! This home has a lot of space and a beautiful back yard. It was decorated for our Autumn trip. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. We all agreed we wished we could have stayed longer.

Cozy House Great Central Location

You can walk to the beach or the shopping on Phoenix. House is homey and has a lot of neat features including a nice backyard, playhouse, and bikes and beach games in the garage.

Great place

This was our second stay here. It is a great little place for a few days. The upstairs is not central air so leaving doors open at night is helpful. The kids enjoyed the play house and basketball. The outside shower is nice for rinsing everyone off.

Great Lakehouse

We enjoyed our stay in South Haven at this property. We were 4 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 8. The kids enjoyed the playhouse and the basketball hoop. The adults appreciated the backyard with the fire pit and the lovely outdoot patio. Beach access was only a few blocks away. Nice house and nice location.

Family beach trip

We loved our time in South Haven and we were so comfy in Susan’s home. The location was great-a few blocks from the beach and our kids loved either biking or walking the trips to and from. We did part of the Van Buren trail nearby. We had a couple of rainy days and her home was perfect for us all having space for playing/relaxing in multiple areas. We would most definitely return.

Family beach trip

We really enjoyed the property. It was actually better than the pictures. The kids loved the playhouse. It was close to the beach and playgrounds. Susan was very good with quick communication too. It was quiet in this neighborhood, which was helpful for small chicken who had to go to bed a bit earlier. I would like to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Clean and comfortable

This property is an older home, but very clean and tidy. We really appreciated the sitting room with plenty of comfortable couches for reading and conversation, and the super fenced in back yard with a nice grill, fire pit and outdoor seating. The play house was a huge hit with our toddler! We loved the short walk to a wonderful playground as well as the beachfront. The owner was helpful and responsive when we had a question. This was a great place to stay!

Perfect Location

Our stay was perfect for all the ages. The house had everything we needed and more. The thoughtfulness of items was appreciated from the kids step stool for the bathroom sink to bikes and beach wagon. The amount of bath and kitchen towels was great and the quality excellent. The playhouse and fenced backyard kept the kids busy and safe. The kids park was easy walking distance and a very nice park. I personally loved the older home. The built in bookcases, squeaky floors and unexpected cabinets. The house was clean, fresh and relaxing.

Family Vacay

My family and I finally got a chance to visit South Haven again as we used to ever summer 20+ years ago. This was the perfect house and location! Inside of the home was very clean and just enough room to feel comfortable and meet our needs (bedrooms/baths). The outside area we mostly occupied since the weather was beautiful. The patio was huge and had very comfy seating. The fire pit area was also great and especially the adorable little house with so many cute toys to keep my kids occupied. Definitely recommend this lake house! Oh and we brought our own bikes, but they had so many to choose from too. Another great plus! We hope to be back soon!

Listing Not Accurate

This house only has only 1 full bathroom that is on the second floor, it was a challenge for the grandparents to shower and take care of themselves. The 1st floor bedroom does not have a dresser or closet. There is an exposed “bathroom” (no doors) in the unfinished basement that has an unpleasant odor and is in need of a dehumidifier. The house was not clean, the surfaces, fans, etc were dirty. There is also not a closet or dresser in the bunk bed room and just enough space on the floor to fit 2 children’s suitcases. There is also not a dishwasher so if you are planning to have a couple families and cooking that might be something to consider. These are all thing we wished we would have noticed (there are other reviews mentioning the same things) before we booked. We emailed the host with feedback the day we left but she hasn’t responded. The backyard is amazing and it is in a great location.

Cousins trip 2025

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect for my daughters and I traveling with five small children. The kids loved the toys, especially the Playhouse and the patio was perfect for us adults. Susan was very helpful and responded quickly when we had a few questions.
