Beautiful home, well maintained, incredibly hospitable and responsive host. Kitchen is well equipped and amply stocked with cooking essential and extras for feeding your guests. Wonderful spacious yard great for outdoor fun.
FIVE STARS!!!This house is absolutely gorgeous—and the property is even better! It was incredibly spacious, filled with natural light, and made for such a relaxing stay. We were welcomed with a thoughtful basket of snacks, which was so appreciated after our long drive! The location is perfect—just a short distance from town, making everything super convenient.Alexis is truly A—a gem to work with from start to finish. We will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!
This propeety is excellent, well appointed kitchen, lovely rooms, very clean, lovely location, we used the kayaks and had a lovely time on the water. Nearby rearaurants are fabulous and so close and convenient. Thank you for having us Alexis.
Perfect place to stay, visit and reconnect with old friends. Host was superb. Welcoming, went out of her way to be helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We so enjoyed our stay! Alexis has thought of everything to make a visit comfortable.
Enjoyed the location and was able to walk to the village for coffee! Very convenient location and would highly recommend!
Alexis was a very responsive host, and the property was just as accommodating. The location was perfect for walks to downtown Padanaram and everything was nice and quiet, too. It is a perfect place for a couple (even if you have a younger child) and provides plenty of comfort during the visit.
My daughter and I came in for a regatta and the Dartmouth cottage was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about it. The only negative is not having a real kitchen, but as long as people are clear that they need to provision accordingly, it is not a problem. The comfort of this home far outweighs not having a full kitchen! We loved it and would love to return!

Not quite what we expected
The "cottage" was not a cottage at all. The accommodations are located in the basement of the owner's private home and the "walk to the village" is approximately 2 miles away. That being said, it was very new, clean, quiet and safe. Great place for a weekend get-a-way but not long term as kitchen consists only of refrigerator, micro & coffee maker - no sink- so that any dishes used must be washed in the bathroom sink and are not to be used in the micro.
My stay at this property was absolutely awesome. The home was clean with lots of amenities. My host was an absolute gem. The location of this property is perfect. I highly recommend this rental property.
Everything about this property and the host were wonderful. It worked really well for our family including the lower level master bedroom for the small grandchildren that could shut the door and keep the house quiet in the mornings. The kitchen, deck, and common areas with coastal views great for eating and hanging out. The other bedrooms, comfortable and quiet. I would definitely rent this house again.
Property was better than we expected and definitely better than the pics showed. Best of all, the home was stocked with just about everything that we needed over the 7 day stay. We will absolutely look to book this home again when we return to the area!
Much to be said about this place; where to start.First, I would never stay here for one night: it's got far too much to offer! Two nights was barely enough time, we would've loved to stay a week or more.Thoughtfully stocked, immaculately presented, this house (home) leaps off the page of a designer magazine. Very, very few things were overlooked by the host here. A cribbage board might be a fun addition to the game cupboard. The pillows are hotel quality, but the two with pillowcases were just too high for my head so I had to remove the shams and use those instead. Those of us who wore socks and no slippers found out the gorgeous stairs are a bit slippery. We improvised a drip coffee maker to make a "pot" of coffee in a mason jar. The Keurig machine was also used, but there were no additional coffee pods and we also try to avoid using them in general (we are a group of plastic warriors, so we totally appreciated all the reusable travel mugs you provide your guests!).Amazingly, three of your very tasteful art pieces were made by talented artists who work with rope - the very reason we were in New Bedford was to highlight our program of collecting fishing gear from commercial fishermen (Net Your Problem) and then getting it into the hands of those two (Wharf Warp wreath and two wall hangings by a fellow named Vasconceles) and other artists to make beautiful art!The fire pit was a perfect wind-down at the end of our intense event on Thursday.Loved the marsh!
