The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"Great property and really convenient. The mini town and food options at the hotel were excellent. Found a roach in our room which is why I don’t give it 5 stars"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pahrump by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice motel. Definitively one of the better Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at in the last few years. Gal provided a list of dining options in town when I checked in. Very helpful. Great exercise room. Breakfast was very good."
Mizpah Hotel

"Known to be a haunted hotel. It's an old hotel, our room was clean but old which we expected. Staffs are friendly. We stayed for one night, at 2nd floor. My husband heard some strange knocking sounds...Ghost????"
Best Western Pahrump Oasis
8/10 Good
"I had a King room with the "kitchenette." The room itself was very nice....except it was very close to the road and traffic was VERY loud starting at about 5am each morning. Couple other issues: 1. I got there at exactly 2:47pm and asked to check-in. Was told I had to wait until 3pm. (OK....have never had another hotel quibble over 13 minutes, but whatever...) EXCEPT - after sitting in the car for 15 minutes, went back in and had to stand in line for over 30 minutes because the one girl (who told me I had to wait) was the only one checking guests in and it took her forever! 2. I tend to take short showers...except my last night there I took a little longer (MAYBE 10 minutes....) and the water made a weird noise and switched completely to cold. 3. One evening, I decided to go to the hot tub (near the pool) since I'd been hiking all day. It certainly shouldn't be called a hot tub - it was maybe "warm" (I'd guess about 90F) and it wasn't close to being full, so the water was splashing all over the place - the sidewalk and our faces. Overall, I didn't spend much time in the hotel - that's not the reason I go to Pahrump - so next time I'll probably check out the Holiday Inn Express just up the road."

Peaceful and serene.Located right next to Great Basin National Park.
10/10 Excellent
"This is a fabulous choice for a place to stay when in Baker visiting the national park.It is literally down the road from the entrance, Up a private gravel road, the unit had everything we needed- plus extras! How usually to be given full size bathroom products, a nightlight, spices and olive oil, a huge canister of coffee, a candle, chocolate bars, paper towels, and even a bag of fresh ice! The bed was super comfortable and the hear/air conditioner were effective. Our host Sandee was very nice and the place was spotlessly cleaned on our arrival. We were glad to be assigned the “South Unit” because it was away from the main house and had lovely sun pouring through the windows, as well as a great view of the sunrise over the mountains."
Jim Butler Suites

"The room was clean and comfortable. Television was good. The outside was a little rough looking but they were working on improving it."
