"Owner was great.very knowledgeable about the area and the history.property was clean,neat and quiet.owner is not a good golfer, but excellent beer drinker and brews his own beer which was a bonus.i would highly recommend and will stay again.Thank you for the warm hospitality."

"This is just the loveliest cottage with a great outdoor space and screened in porch. It is very conveniently to Pawleys Island and an easy walk to the Georgetown waterfront. This was a wonderful spot to travel with my dog - the fenced outdoor area was great and there were so many easy places to take him for walks - down the street through Georgetown's beautiful historic homes, to nearby parks, or down to the waterfront. Betts was such a great host - so helpful and had thought of many details in the cottage to make it a comfortable stay. She also provided terrific information on Georgetown and the surrounding area. I traveled solo with my dog on this trip but it would be a great spot for a girls weekend or family trip and could comfortably sleep a group in 3 nicely appointed bedrooms. It's very spacious and the kitchen is great! Rice Cottage is just what we needed for our trip - and I hope to be back again soon!"

"Came to stay overnight after watching an evening Braves game. The staff was extremely informative and helpful at the front desk from the time we checked in until we checked out, Location was within walking distance to the game, so in reality the location saved us our parking fee at the ball game which some lots charged 40 or more dollars for, the room was extremely clean and had no odors. Parking was monitored so guests only were parked on site, everything about this stay exceeded our standards to include the FREE breakfast the next morning."

"This was our second stay at the Oaks. We have family that we visit in Georgetown, but since growing our family, it has been harder to stay with others during our visits. It is great to have our own place that is pet-friendly! We love being close to downtown to walk for ice cream, dinner, or just for the views. We've now enjoyed Christmas and the 4th at the Oaks and will be staying again soon."

"A lovely home, comfy beds and sofas, walking distance to everything. Nicely stocked kitchen. One small detail—there is free street parking but no designated parking for the unit. Otherwise everything else was great."
