Staff was welcoming, friendly,and helpful from the time of checkin through departure. The breakfast was outstanding. I am 79 and I have traveled a lot staying at 5 star to moderate hotels. I have never had such an extensive complimentary breakfast offered anywhere. I want to especially commend the woman who took care of the food as well as the women at the front desk. They were smiley, polite, helpful and personable. As a matter of fact, all of the staff smiled and greeted us letting us know they were glad we were staying at their hotel. When I am in the South Bend area, I will be staying here again.

The room was clean and very comfortable for 5 adults to stay in. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was great! Only downside was that the pool was closed during our stay and Expedia did not notify us of this. Hotel provided us with compensation for the inconvenience.
