"This is a hidden gem! Patrick welcomes you warmly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The quiet and beauty of the gardens adds to the pleasure. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner incredible. Patrick was very helpful in assisting with making reservations for wine tastings in the area. I highly recommend staying here. "

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. "

"We had a memorable stay at Hotel Grand Barrail. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The entire property is stunningly beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with one of the best hotel beds we’ve ever slept on. We absolutely loved our time here, which was relaxing and rejuvenating, and we hope to return! "

"Badon Boutique is an excellent place to stay in St Emilion, Staff were so helpful, Parking is a real problem in this very popular tourist town but there is spacious parking albeit having to navigate beforehand through the narrow cobbled streets.There are wine shops all around you, including their own. Fabulous restaurants just meters away, including the outstanding L’Huterie Pie, just across the street. If you want to stay in St Emilion ( and you do to stroll the lanes after the tour buses have gone, stay here!!"

"Was a decent property in a nice little area, however it clearly needed repairs doing to the property. Random holes in walls, one of the wardrobe doors completly removed and the outside chairs needed replacing. Nothing that a few 100 euro couldnt fix to give this place a 5 stars. The host was friendly.ajd easily contactable. Nearest big supermarket is 1km away which is really handy as it has more or less everything."
