"What an incredible place! It is right at the most beautiful spot in this very cute French village, at the bridge over the river in the old town. The reception closed at 7pm and we were delayed on the way, so we called. We don't speak French and reception didn't speak English, but somehow we managed to get that we were arriving at 8pm. "The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."
