"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

Alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht. Gut, ein scharfes großes Messer ist für Leute wie mich immer ein "must", aber für normale Bedürfnisse ist alles parat: Kühlschrank, Kochfelder, Backofen, Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee- und Espresseomaschiner, nebst Waschmaschine. "This is a wonderful location, very tranquil but also easy to get to beaches and other places of interest. The property was spotless and nicely decorated. Communication with the host was excellent - lots of helpful tips and very responsive. Bring your own linen - I hadn't realised but was able to hire some. "The property is beautifully situated with a lovely outlook and breath taking sunsets . It is an interesting area - lots of towns and villages to visit . Beautiful Romanesque churches and also Gallo/ Roman remains. The property is comfortable and the hosts Howard and Liz are thoughtful and knowledgeable. There is a great butcher in the village too."

"Thank you for this wonderful and clean place that we were able to spend time at. It's right next to the beach and we could really relax after a long exhausting year. The dog of my friend had enough space and we were able to have each space for each other to relax , but also a very comfortable living space/open kitchen to come together and enjoy music and food. If you want to fall asleep and wake up to the relaxing sound of the ocean you are right here."
