"Alghero is a lovely place to stay for a few days. The Hotel San Marco is in a great location. The rooms aren't great, but they are enough to relax. Better to skip breakfast. All days were the same. Scrambled eggs with powder and the coffee was tasteless. The cleanliness was of a high standard. I appreciate it. The pool was nice. The price for the service they provide should be lower."

"We loved our stay here. Everything so comfortable and well-run. The complimentary breakfast was incredible. None of your stale croissants here!! 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English, which helped, as our Italian is rudimentary at best! There is a fantastic supermarket across the road if you need any supplies. Easy jump into downtown Alghero, and our room had a view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again."

"Charming country hotel less than 10 minutes from downtown Alghero but you feel like you are in the middle of a farm estate. Lovely pool and a very delicious breakfast buffet to go along with a super-friendly staff and a very comfy bed. Oh, did I mention they have a tennis court? So bring your racquet with you. "
