The walls were paper thin so you could hear all guests at all times of day and night. The air conditioning was extremely weak and fan wouldn’t keep constant speed. Toilet is so close to the shower door that you have to turn sideways to sit on it without hitting your knees on the shower door. Room is extremely small with little or no room to put luggage. Location, however, was very good. We thought about looking for another place when we got there, but decided that we were going to spend so little time in our room that it was sufficient for just sleeping.

Awesome breakfast, great location, clean and safe. The family who owns this is so nice and attentive. They helped give us restaurant recs that were delicious (go to Da Franco for pizza). We had an issue with our shower not draining properly and they fixed it within 30 minutes of me contacting. Overall amazing experience!

Once we arrived the gentleman was very helpful. He even walked out to show me the lemon tour options and which one was the best. Before arriving they helped me in arranging a tour to Amalfi and Positano. Alilauro tour told us both that the ferry went straight to Amalfi and then Positano. They lied to the hostess of the hotel as well as for me. They go to Positano first and then to Amalfi which created a shorter visit. Alilauro agency is not helpful when you reach them and they were rude. Look for a better option for a tour. The gentleman that attended us 1st told us that there was no problem in leaving our suitcases while we went to visit another place but the lady that was there in the morning was not happy about it so we took our suitcases to Pompeii which the storage was a bit expensive. FYI we stayed at the last room and there was a noise like an elevator or something next door…it lasted quite a bit. The hotel is close to the city and places of interest.

Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Sorrento Relais. It is a quiet welcoming facility, small and family run. High standards throughout including clean and well organized. The facility is a reasonably short, level walk from the train/bus station. The neighborhood is safe. The breakfast has a good diversity of offerings.

Good place

For being a 2-star hotel, we are incredibly pleased with our 2 nights stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and fresh, but had some wear and tear but it was fine. Breakfast buffet was over our expectations since they had quite some things to choose from even though they’re a small hotel. The location is also perfect since it’s only 5 minute walk to the train and around 10 minutes to the city center. Overall really pleased, can recommend!

Location is good. Breakfast is very basic. Room and bathroom feel dated and not as clean especially the floor. You have to wear slippers or your socks will be black. It is not worth the value.

The receptionist was great, and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Although it's a little bit outside the town centre, it's within a comfortable walking distance and a great spot to stay when staying in Sorrento with the train station just five minutes away on foot.

Sorrento stay

Iliana was ever so helpful, from texting ahead of arrival to meeting us later than planned, as well as checking updates for us on the status of the broken train line! We didn't see anyone from the staff team apart from the breakfast waitress but she too was very pleasant. The room was small but very clean and comfy, with everything we needed. The honesty bar/fridge was a great addition. Location was ideal for our stay.

Good value, nice stay

This small hotel was very nice and in a good location. The rooms are small and simple but clean. Breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs, juice, meat, cheese, pastries. The staff was very helpful when we had questions. It was advertised that there was laundry but it was just a dryer and it could only be used 3:30-5:30 pm.
