"This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. "We visited in the off season and the staff still treated us as if we visited in the middle of their busiest season. They noticed that we were staying for a few days and called to offer us a first floor room (we declined). Our room was Beautiful! Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel itself was super easy to find and super close to everything both in town and out (Acadia National Park). There was a super yummy grab and go breakfast that was a nice surprise. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area for both where to eat/drink and where to explore in the National Park. We will definitely be staying here when we return to Bar Harbor."
