"When we arrived the place looked an old farm in the middle of nowhere. The pool had no water in it and was closed , room was small with lot of flies and a/c controls were taped off . Was very disappointed and turned key back in without even taking my suitcases out of the car . Regretted it very much to have booked this place . Did not even get a refund . Horribly"

"Beautiful setting and redone gated farmhouse opposite Orvieto. Nice continental breakfast with view (but ants!). Simple dinner available. Had to call multiple numbers before I found someone to check me in. Waited a while. Clerk didn’t speak English so didn’t help much with concierge info (American owners aren’t on site). Maids noisy early in morning. Can’t get taxis so had to pay driver 35€ every time to Orvieto. (Funicular not working!)"
