"My room, 417, was on the back side of the hotel right next to the freeway. The road noise was horrific and sleep was almost impossible. My little 10 lb dog was having anxiety attacks most the night due to the noise. The coffee maker in the room was insufficient and was not one that could use the k-cups that we brought with us. The desk lamp has an electrical short in the wiring. Every time we tried to use it the strobing made us fear it was a fire hazard. As a person on a very strict diet, the high carb breakfast offerings were horrible. The only thing I could eat was the boiled eggs. I cannot recommend this place. I will not reserve at La Quinta Auburn again."

"This house is very clean and modern. It was a perfect fit for my family. We didn’t get to hang out in the backyard deck because it rained the first two days we were there but on the last day I was able to go outside with my 1 yo niece. It is a nice wooden deck with lots of room for little kids to run around and not get dirty. The host was available everytime I had questions or concerns and replied promptly. There was lots of parking space in the driveway. Most of the supplies we needed were provided so we didn’t really have to buy much such as lots of paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap and laundry detergent. I was amazed how well stocked the rental was because most rentals that I have rented does not have all these supplies and I would have to buy them. If I were to ever visit this area again, I would rent this home again! We all enjoyed our stay here. "

"This is overall a great hotel for a short stay. It's obvious it has been updated/remodeled within the past couple years and that they have tried really hard to make it a very welcoming place. The only minor complaints I'd say are the bathroom was VERY small, like barely able to open the door to get to the toilet and shower and sink was on the outside of the bathroom and only a single sink. As I mentioned, minor inconvenience that still works, just poor design. The other minor things would be very little equipment in the small workout room. Last the breakfast was fairly limited choices with lots of customers and were out of both of the main choices Eggs and meet at one point with several people waiting. On a positive note, front desk friendly, coffee machine was great and free cookie appreciated! Decorating in the lobby looked great! We loved the way the room was painted and decorated, cooling unit and fan helped keep it extra quiet in the room and comfortable and the bed was perfect! Overall we would definitely return for a short stay, convient to the mall and the Fieldhouse basketball facility. Highly recommend!"

"Loved this quaint little cabin. It was updated and provided everything I needed. Great host- she even let my granddaughters play with the farm animals. Even though the cabin is right next-door to the main house, I still have all the privacy I needed. "

"Overall the house was nice. The beds were clean. The location was nice and quiet. Problems: 1) late check-in due to place being cleaned 2) The kitchen ware and utensils were dirty. 3) a painting over the bed fell and landed on the person laying there (first night). Luckily was facing opposite the headrest. Looked like the frame was hanging off a few thump tacks. 4) owner quick to respond. But lacked execution: stated will have maintenance stop by, but no one ever did. Stated will partially refund first night but never did. Would be a great place to stay once the owner makes the place safe. "
