"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Melia Chiang Mai over Chinese New Year, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel arranged a seamless airport pickup, which was a great start to our trip. The staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They even assisted us in booking a couple of excellent tours around the area. The buffet breakfast every morning was a highlight; delicious variety and great quality to fuel our days. I really enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the relaxing pool—perfect for unwinding. Location-wise, a lot of Chiang Mai's nightlife, markets, and restaurants are just a short walk away, making it super convenient. Overall, a luxurious and comfortable spot with excellent service. We'd happily return!"
