"Lots of historic charm, extremely clean, no smell at all, super friendly staff, everything works well and in good order, centrally located, restaurants and bars within the block...can't think of anything negative to say! Oh yes..the map to the parking lot...it is not so easy to follow! That's the only problem I encountered !!"

"The property is conveniently located for visiting Placerville area. It's 10 minutes away from Red Hawk casino - a lot cheaper than staying Red Hawk hotel for you gamblers. The building itself is a bit worn from age but overall clean and maintained well. Included breakfast is fine - standard American affairs - bottomless coffee help waking me up and from spending money on Starbucks. The dining area (about half a dozen tables) can get crowded during morning rush hours so pick your time strategically and you'll be fine."

"This Marriott is very nice, When I booked, didn't realize it was a suite, complete with kitchen and very roomy. Appreciated they have a dedicated recycle bin. Staff was very nice and our room was fairly quiet. Breakfast was nice, although the bananas looked very sad and old. I had to get extra towels as only two were in our room. One of the hand towels went into the bathtub/shower as when I started to step in, it was very slippy. I don't know why more hotels don't have bath mats in the rooms. We very much our stay here and will likely be back."

"This was one of the worst rooms we've stayed in. It was a suite. The sink was so small you could only fit two small kleenex boxes on the counter. There were 3 females in this room and we had to store items on the floor. There was very little water pressure in the hot water side but the water only came on slightly warm. The little bar of soap was soggy and not easy to use. The beds were so close together it was uncomfortable. Yet, there was tons of room by the desk, which was weird. No trash can in the bathroom. On the phone, there is no information on how to contact the front desk or room service. You had to guess. On the website, it appeared as if there was breakfast buffet included, but no. They charge for parking. Best thing, the beds were very comfortable, staff very nice and lounge tastefully done. But we won't stay here again."
