Tower Mill, Hagworthingham In 1816 the mill had common sails. In 1853 it had patent sails, which were retained until the early 1940's. The cap and two remaining sails were taken off and a strange roof put on in 1950. Since then the tower has fallen into ruinous state. All the machinery remained in 1974, although the floors were becoming dangerous. Some items were taken to Horncastle mill.

Nice room, clean and comfortable, very creaky floors but you expect that in an old building. Staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed 3 nights and opted for the non cleaning option and didn't eat in as my mother lives locally so can't comment on anything else but will definately be back.
