"This is a top notch bed and breakfast with nice, clean rooms with hotel feeling. This was our second visit and we had again warm and serviceminded welcome. We had a really wellmade dinner with the best choclate fudge cake ever (and I have tried many!). Nice breakfast with lots of home made stuff. It’s an old school so there is also an old gym hall which our kids love. This is the number one stop If you go through Sweden but we could also easily spend a Dalecarlian weekend there."

"A lovely stay at Gopshusgården We stayed at Gopshusgården in July and really enjoyed it. The cabins were clean, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a calm and genuine place with a very welcoming atmosphere. When we arrived and mentioned we wanted to go for a swim but had no food with us, the host kindly made sandwiches for us to take to the lake — such a thoughtful gesture! "The property is in the process of being renovated to look like the original property. Everything was very clean. It is very charming. The breakfast was good and a nice way to start your day.
