"Excellent 5-star hotel with a sleek, modern design and peaceful yet central location by Diocletian’s Palace (a step away, without being in the middle of the chaos). Rooms are spacious (huge for European and even American standards), nicely appointed, and well-stocked (Nespresso, local wine with compliments, bath & shower, double sinks), and every toiletry you might need. The rooftop offers incredible views, a lounge pool, loungers, and excellent food and wine. The breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had anywhere—delicious and extensive. Spa and gym are impressive—especially the massage from Maja, truly world-class. Service was outstanding, with special thanks to Sara and Barbara. Extra perks made the stay feel luxurious: reserved spa/gym after hours, beach tote with towels, daily wellness specials, even complimentary morning massage (check specials and availability). The crowd is upscale and relaxed. Only downside: room service is extremely overpriced with a €15 delivery fee. Otherwise, exceptional in every way. If you’re staying anywhere but here in the town of Split, you’re in the wrong place. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s perfectly located—just a short stroll from both the port and the charming old town, making it an ideal base for exploring without needing transport. The bedrooms were a real highlight: modern, beautifully refreshed, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. From the plush bedding to the sleek bathroom fittings, everything felt clean, fresh, and well-maintained. The pool area, while lovely, was a little on the compact side. On a couple of occasions, we did need to wait for sun loungers to become available, but once settled, it was a relaxing spot to soak up the sun or enjoy a dip. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and friendly approach made a real difference and contributed to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivers on location, comfort, and service. A great choice for couples or small groups looking for a stylish and convenient place to stay. We had a lovely time and would absolutely return. "

"What a beautiful hotel, the room was extremely comfortable, the pools were amazing, spotlessly clean and really comfortable loungers. The staff works very hard to keep every guest happy, and the reception staff could not be more helpful. The menu choices of evening meal was excellent and our selection was delicious! The only criticism I have is that I think the air conditioning perhaps needs servicing or replacing because it was woefully inadequate in the room we stayed in. Having said that, we would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!"

"Fantastic stay at Hotel Luxe. Lovely large modern room with very comfy bed, Staff were very welcoming and helpful and responsive to our needs. The hotel is nice and quiet but superbly located in Split. Nothing is more than a short walk away. I have seen some reviews saying the breakfast was disappointing but we thought it was great. Yes small breakfast area but everything you could want and more, lovely yogurts, fresh juice, fresh cheeses meats and smoked salmon. Fresh fruit, nuts, figs, dried fruits, granola, Scrambled eggs and local sausages. Delicious!"
