Kenai River Fishing Cabin #2 30 feet from the riverbank
Kenai River Kayak and Cabin #2
My cell number is 907-953-7069 if you have any questions.
This is the 2nd of 6 units on the property. It is 30 feet from the riverbank of the Kenai River and is a “dry” cabin just like cabin #1. These cabins were built in the 70s when it was legal to have a permanent building this close to the the river. Later on it became a 50 foot minimum. So to have a cabin this close to the river is rare. Here are some the features.
The cabin has a twin/full style bunk bed that sleeps 2 All linens are provided sheets, blankets, towels, etc Memory foam mattress toppers Fully furnished with wood and leather furniture. Free WiFi and smart TVs USB charging outlets The dry kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and infrared cooktop, and the basic pot, frying pan, and paper utensil and plastic wares to save time on doing the dishes. For water I have a hot/cold water dispenser. So there is water in the cabin, it has everything but a kitchen sink.
For bathrooms I do have a separate 12x16 shower house that has two full bathrooms and on demand hot water 30 seconds away behind the cabin. This building is used by all the guests and is cleaned daily. There are two upright showers, two toilets, and two sinks.
For outdoor cooking, I have an assortment of charcoal grills, propane grills and I’m currently remodeling an outdoor covered picnic area with a traeger. There are also plenty of fire rings and the firewood here is complimentary.
The property has everything you need to get started to catch and process your salmon. Including over 150 feet of private river access Cleaning tables and salmon disposal All units have their own freezers for storing you catch I do have some food saver vac pac machine’s for use. But I currently don’t have a commercial vacuum packer.
My cell number is 907-953-7069 if you have any questions I’ll be glad to help. Be sure to ask about my 5% cash discounts.

When I book this cabin the listing was pretty basic and I assumed I would only be getting a cabin near the river. The owner has everything you could want for a fish camp. He is generous and helpful with all requests. Very friendly and down to earth. As an extra perk, we had semi private docks to fish at and did not have to fight Public areas for space. Literally wake up and take a few steps and you are fishing. We limited every day pretty easy from the docks on property. I highly recommend
There was some miscommunication about the booking and details were not received for access prior to arrival. That being said when this was realized Robbie made extra efforts to make my son and I at home including bringing us supplies to make fireside smores. The property is well set up for fishing, and freezing processing the catch. Though it was a short stay I look forward to booking a longer visit in the future.
