They were also very helpful and gave us great tips about how to get to Nice, Monaco and other places around. "We had an excellent holiday at Villa Maracudja. The accommodation is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. We made good use of the large swimming pool which was very well maintained. The house is very well situated just a couple of miles outside Menton, ideal for visiting this beautiful region. Hafid and Kristell were charming hosts and made us feel very welcome."

"Trotz durchwachsenem Wetter konnten wir uns in dem stilvollen Haus sehr gut erholen. Besonders die Blicke aus den großen Fenstern haben wir sehr genossen. In dieser Jahreszeit war die gut funktionierende Heizung ein großes Plus!"

"This is the most unusual place that I have stayed in all my trips to Italy. The town is almost all medieval. The flat is very comfortable, renovated in a way that preserved the unique character of local homes. Cora is a very very good host. We had generally a very good experience in Apricale."

"The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. The bungalow was at the top of the garden up some steep steps. I don't think you would manage if you had poor mobility. The bungalow was well equipped for making small meals although no oven to bake. We had some trouble with insects (centipedes) but think that they came inside due to bad weather. They didn't bother us. Sadly it rained quite a lot in our week so we did not use the pool, however it looked absolutely great and very clean. The location...

"We’ve stayed at many places along the Riveria but this was definitely our favorite. Beautiful porch with a spectacular view with a short but steep walk to the beach and old town. Mia was very friendly and very helpful. We hope to return again soon!"

Le côté rustique et l'isolement relatif peuvent ne pas convenir à tout le monde mais il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer de très bonnes vacances. Eh oui la région est escarpée et donc à un moment ou à un autre ça grimpe, mais les panoramas époustouflants à la clé méritent bien quelques efforts. Finalement le seul défaut de cette location de vacances aura été de devoir partir."

"Fantastic place! The house was amazing. Very clean, lots of space and it had all the amenities you could ever need, including internet. The surrounding area was very beautiful with gorgeous panoramic views of the Italian alps. The area is very quiet and peaceful during the day and the evening. If you have a car there is a nice cafe with delicious Italian coffee and pastry about 10 minute drive and there is grocery shopping and the train station and the sea about a 20 minute drive so this house...

Zwei kleine Anmerkungen aber doch für künftige Interessenten: Dass es praktisch kein eigenes Grundstück gibt, sodern nur ein kleiner Streifen von der Straße vor dem Haus durch Blumenkübel abgegrenzt ist und es im Hau nur schmale, steile Raumspartreppen gibt, hätten wir gern vorher gewusst."

"Un super séjour au printemps, les vues depuis la maison sont absolument magnifiques. La maison est accueillante, avec une magnifique terrasse, idéalement située dans le village et très calme. La proximité de l'épicerie du village est très appréciable. La réservation, la communication avec la propriétaire puis l'accueil ont été parfait. Je recommande cette location"

"Overall, our stay was great. The apartment was clean and had a great terrace with a beautiful view. Parking was easy, and the beach below was really nice (you just have to be prepared for some exercise with all of the stairs!)"

"Antonio ( Enzo ) is a great host. If there was anything missing, he was able to help all the time. The Location is in the mountains were you can enjoy a lot of silence. The pool was always clean and in good condition. His little trattoria offers great local food. And his pizza is the best ! There were plenty of opportunities of sideseeing all around and the sea is only 20-25 minutes away. We would really like to come back someday. Thanks for a great time Enzo."
