"There is lots of space in the apartment, and the balcony with the window opening on to it from the main bedroom is a treasure. The spacious cupboards and closets are cleverly designed. They alone are worth the experience. The only negative was the clothes washer, which didn't work. We were told that maintenance got to it just after we left. A great pizzeria is just around the corner, as are a good grocery store and a cafe/bar. The Metro, vital in Bilbao, is a fifteen-minute walk. The managers helped us by phone, in English, when we had trouble using the on-line entry system to get in the first time. We definitely recommend this reasonable priced, convenient apartment in a historic working class area."
