A good choice of stay at Sokcho

Room is clean with limited furniture. The location of the accommodation is quite alright. Major tourist sites are within walking distance. Close to city bus stop with 3-min walk only. Easy access to bus for seoraksan national park. The short cut to Inter City Bus Terminal takes no more than 10 minutes. If time is right you may enjoy the sunrise from the rooftop terrace.

Basic accommodations for a family of 4

Our room had 4 bunk beds and a queen sized bed. They don't want you eating in your room but there is a kitchen with seating on the first floor. In the morning there is bad coffee, juice, cereal and toast. This was nice as most eating establishments are not open before 10. The hostel was conveniently located near to the Jungang market and to the 7 bus to Seoraksan. The 7 and 9 bus were convenient to many further tourist attractions. We also easily walked to Abai village and Yeonggungjeom Pavilion.

Located remotely. No public transportation near the hotel. No convenience store nor restaurants nearby. We arrived around four in the afternoon and found the restaurant in the hotel closed. There is not even a vending machine We ended up fasting for the day

속초 동명항/금강다리에서 가까운 게스트 하우스입니다 조식으로는 토스트 /딸기잼/ 콘푸로스트 / 우유 / 감귤주스 / 커피가 제공 됩니다, 가격에 비해 상당히 만족스러운 게스트 하우스 입니다 , 또 다시 오고 싶은 마음이 생길 정도로 참 좋았으며, 사장님도 많이 보진 못했지만, 매우 친절하셨습니다

솔직 숙박 후기

침대와 수압이 좋은 것 외에는 비추입니다. 유럽식 조식이라는 이름이 무색하게토스트와 시리얼 두 개라고 말하는 편이 솔찍하지 않을까합니다. 청결면에서도 식당은 불결했고 의자나 테이블이 대부분 많이 흔들거렸고, 개인 수저세트와 접시나 그릇 등은 본인이 챙겨오셔야하겠습니다. 남과 같이 쓰는 게 부담스럽다면 말이죠. 샴푸와 바디클렌저 뿐이라 린스 사용 고객이라면 각자 가져와야할 듯. 매일 하우스키핑 원한다면 주인장님께 언급하셔야합니다. 아니면 스킵. 전체적으로 실망, 리뷰와 사진과 안내가 실제와 많이 다른 듯합니다.

깔끔한 인테리어.

전체적으로 깔끔한 화이트톤의 인테리어로 청소도 잘 되어있었어요. ㄷㅏ만 아쉬운 점은 취식은 쉼터에서만 가능하다는 것... 이 점이 조금은 아쉽네요

A super comfortable place to stay.

This was a rather great place to stay. My room was comfy and clean. Really, James Blue Hostel is the epitome of comfortable. The proprietors are kind with cheerful attitudes, and James helped me plot out a course for the day. The room was roomy with more than enough space

여관이었던 곳을 게스트하우스로 운영하고 있네요. 객실은 일반 여관의 룸과 동일합니다. 위치는 속초 중앙시장과 동명항 모두 걸어서 이동이 가능한 편리한 곳에 위치하고 있고 주차도 편리합니다. 1층의 식당 겸 휴게실에서 보이는 바다뷰가 좋았습니다.

전반적으로 모텔 같은 분위기였음 주변자동차 소음에 신경쓰시는 분들은 추천하지않음 하지만 차로 조금만가면 해돋이 명소가 있어서 괜찮았음 설악산국립공원이 근방이라 설악산 가실 계획이라면 추천!!

제임스 블루 게스트하우스는 가성비 최고로 친구들에게 꼭 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다.

우선 주차장이 넓고 객실이 깨끗하고 바닥이 따뜻해서 아주 좋았습니다. 속초 중심부에 위치하고 있어 속초 중앙시장에 가기도 편리하고 동명항이나 속초해변에 가기도 좋았으며 아바이마을의 갯배 타는 곳도 가깝고 횟집거리도 가까워서 좋았습니다. 1층의 쉼터는 완전히 카페분위기였으며 아침식사로 빵과 우유가 제공되는데 콘센트도 많아 별도로 라면을 끓여먹거나 하기에도 아주 좋았으며 다음에 속초에 오게되면 다시 이용하고 싶으며 친구들이 속초에 여행 간다면 꼭 이용하라고 권하고 싶습니다.. 굳이 점수로 평하라면 10점 만점에 10점입니다.

자주 묵었던 곳입니다. 깨끗하고 저렴해서 새벽에 서울로 오기전날 많이 묵었습니다. 이번에는 모기장에 구멍이 있어서 불편했네요. 침대상태나 이런것들을 보니 이제 슬슬 보수가 필요해보이더군요. 근처 다른 두곳의 게스트 하우스들도 묵어봤는데, 시장과 동명항이 도보로 가능합니다.가격대비 최고입니다.

위치가 좋아요

오래된 모텔을 개조한 것을 알고 갔기에 전반적으로 만족합니다만, 방안 청결이 조금 미흡합니다. 벽과 천장에 죽은 모기가 많이 붙어있어서 2층 침대는 아예 사용을 못했어요... 에어컨위치도... 위치나 친절도는 만족해요... 또한 그닥 편의시설이나 이용시설이 좋은것도 아닌데 오락기까지 유료인것은 매우 안좋네요.. 100원도 아니고 500원이라니...

적당히 깨끗한, 모텔스러운 게스트하우스 입구를 밤엔 잘 못찾겠으니 미리 사진을 봐두고 찿는게 빠를것같음 낮에는 수월할듯함 조식은 시리얼 토스트 커피정도~ 엄청 습하고 더운날임에도 시리얼은 파삭.. 딱 그정도~
