This was a beautiful B & B. Property was exceptional- inside & outside. Room & bathroom were super clean. Continental breakfast was great. Owners were wonderful. We would definitely go back!
Everything was first rate and up to date. Great stay, especially for the price. Breakfast was self-serve but there were multiple options and it was fine for us.
The perfect place to stay when we moved our daughter into her apartment near Penn State. The place was immaculate and just beautiful. Wish we had been able to stay longer! Look forward to staying there again in the future.
We stumbled upon the Cramer Family Mountain House while searching for places to stay on a road trip through PA. Boy are we glad we did! This well appointed, comfortable and adorable Bed & Breakfast was the perfect stop for us on our trip. From the ease of checking in to our stay in the beautiful King Room, we knew we were "home." The pavilion in the back yard with a firepit, comfy chairs, a TV and cute string lights was perfect for a glass of wine and the Flyers game. After dark, we found one of many fun games to play in the dining area then browsed the merch for sale (even went home with a few hand-made cards)! Highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing stay.
Nice, clean place, more like a bed and breakfast. A shared bathroom for the regular rooms, but very spacious and clean.
Shared kitchen and living room.
We definitely will stay there again, if we drive to the east coast again.
This was an adorable part of our 900 mile journey. What a welcoming crew and attention to detail for a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to journey back that way again soon.
Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Budget friendly compared to other hotels in the area. We preferred the personal touches as opposed to a hotel chain. Very nice owners. Nice breakfast. Loved being close to 80 and getting right back on the highway to get to our destination easily. We will be making this location or choice midway point when we travel across the state to visit family again in the future.
Trish, her brother, her husband and her sister law were so welcoming and made you feel like family. The room was super clean and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch and sitting in the living room and enjoying a cup of tea, coffee and hot chocalate. We loved our time there. We didn’t want to leave.
This was a fine stop for the night on a trip south. Be a great base for exploring the aeea. But do plan your meals as this is a small community with limited options.
Cramer Family Mountain Inn was the perfect stay for me to visit my niece at PSU during graduation weekend. The Inn was easy to find, check in was a breeze. It was quiet, the mattress was lovely and the place was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Cramer Family Mountain Inn and I hope to be back in the future.
Staying in a, to all intents & purposes, deserted property was a little odd but it all worked well enough & it was a charming place to stay.
Wish I could find more places like this on my travels around/across the US.
Only slight criticism is absence of low-level lighting on the landing during the night - it was just too bright to find your way to the bathroom when only half awake.
