Fine way-station on way to somewhere else.

Friendly management. Comfortable bed. Room needed some TLC. Good value for price. Pet friendly, too. Better for solo travelers probably. Room was clean and no bugs.

We arrived late after the Florida State vs Southern Miss game but rang the bell and were able to check in easily and get in our room. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day and do some fishing at the Lake.

0/10 It was more expensive than the promised pricing, the bathroom and provided towels were stained and disgusting, there were roaches and other bugs crawling out of the molding on the bathtub. Nothing felt or smelled clean and i got several weird insect bites while i was there, one of which is still itchy even a week later. We booked a non-smoking room and there was an ashtray on the table as soon as we walked in and it smelled like rancid stale cigarettes and mold. The tv remote didn't work. I'd avoid this place like the plague in the future. I've slept at plenty side of the road motels and this place was easily the nastiest I've ever stayed in.

The room was spacy and clean, the bed comfortable. When I had a problem with the TV, it got solved right away. I would have liked an additional blanket and sufficient coffee pads. Overall it was a good stay.

Nice for price

Pretty nice for the price, save some money for more fun things. The room has everything you would need. It was be nice to get 4 pillows instead of 3. Definitely an older motel but will definitely go again. Lobby locked and you have to check in through the outside window. Quiet and clean.
