Wonderful family memories

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The accommodations included everything that we needed for a comfortable long weekend at the beach. The rooms were private and the common area in the middle provided us good quality, family time to play games and just hang out. The access to the beach Was a plus but the stair is going down to the beach. Need some repair due to the storm surge that they experienced throughout the winter season all in all it was a wonderful experience and we really appreciate the host providing us such a great time.

A Great Time at The Coconut

We had a wonderful winter getaway at The Coconut. The house was very clean and very well supplied. The owners thought of everything. The main living area was extra spacious, and the bedrooms large and comfortable. The view of the ocean was fantastic and the beach was quiet. The owners responded quickly to any questions that we had. We hope to return.

What wonderful place to stay! The access to the beach was phenomenal, you are literally on the beach! This made getting everything set up each day for our family super easy. The house had all the amenities we needed and was in a very safe, quiet area for peaceful evenings. I would definitely come back again!

Amazing home with spectacular views

The home is beautiful. Split bedroom plan with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the first level. Kitchen, dining, and living room on the second level, and the third bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd level. The ocean gets so close that you could touch it.

We had an amazing stay at the Coconut! It’s worth it for the views and beach access alone, but Bill and Amy elevate the experience by providing everything you need for your stay. They respond quickly to any questions or concerns. This was our first trip to Topsail, and the Coconut will be our first choice to stay at if we come back again!

Topsail Staycation

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! We are locals to the are and had some out of town friends come down for a surprise birthday trip! Bill and Amy were incredible hosts & even let us check in early! Their place was absolutely incredible. We loved hearing the waves crash every morning and seeing dolphins from the balcony. We had a wonderful time walking the beach and playing spike ball & enjoying our time there with friends!

Perfect Mother’s Day getaway

This is our second time staying and the oceanfront panoramic view is spectacular. Even though we did get rain it was still a peaceful stay with card playing and catching up. We enjoyed lobster from lobstah shack nearby and everything was at cottage that made our stay perfect. Paper towels, toilet paper even shampoo. We cooked and there are plenty of pots and pans. Beds were comfortable and sheets/bedding great quality.

Amazing vacation

This was our first time in Topsail and first time using VRBO. The coconut is absolutely gorgeous with a ton of amenities. The pictures do not do it justice it’s even better in person. Beach access was perfect and the entire house was meticulously clean. We can’t wait to book again!

Steps from the beach

The beach is beautiful. The walk to the pier is a highlight. This area is only houses and no hotels so there are less people which we loved. The host is amazing and caters to your needs. You can just bring your bathing suits and enjoy the stay as the house is equipped with all you need. We will definitely return!!!

I chose the Coconut because I loved the decor, loved all the pillows everywhere! And the location with the wide expanse of no other homes to the left made it seem private, especially since we were there in October when it’s not crowded anyway. We got lucky with the weather being sunny and warm the whole week. It was our first time in North Topsail and we will definitely be back. This is a gorgeous property!

Feet from the beach

The rental was very roomy, with each bedroom having their own bathroom. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the three levels of balcony’s facing the beach. We’ve rented many homes at the beach, but not one that was literally feet from the beach. Off the back deck, you walk down the steps and you are on the beach. We enjoyed cooking in each day, walking the beach, and hanging out on the back deck. We definitely will rent this place again.

Summer beach fun

Our stay at the coconut was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and well appointed, and the beach was perfect. My wife and I especially enjoyed the third-floor balcony which offered unobstructed views up and down the beach. The house is only a short drive to many restaurants and amenities but is far enough from the main town that the beach didn't feel crowded even with a public access 50 yards away. The only "warning" (and I use that term lightly) I would offer any potential renters is that the primary access to the beach from the house is through one of the bedrooms on the first floor. While this wasn't an issue for us, it could be for a group that may not be comfortable with that arrangement.

Won’t be the last time!

We love the Coconut! Great aesthetic and vibe. Location was fantastic- we loved not having neighbors to our left. Pros- location- literal steps to the beach; convenient to grocery stores, bars, restaurants. Next to empty lot Very clean Comfortable beds and pillows (lots of pillows;)) Good AC- even the third floor stays cool with the ceiling fan Linens and towels provided Hosts were very responsive The top deck is AMAZING Lots of hangars in the closet and… TWO PLUSH ROBES in 3rd floor bedroom Cons - kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes but could use updated pots and pans with lids that fit. Ice machine a bit slow (would recommend having a backup bag or two of ice) Dishwasher is loud and takes quite a while to cycle so we just ran it at night. Would be great to have a grill! Also, not really a con because it can’t be fixed, but just be aware that the only beach access is through a bedroom. Hardly an issue for us but it is good to know before going. We have been vacationing at Topsail since 1989 and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. We are definitely planning to rent this home again!!

Well-stocked beach house right on the water

This was our first year staying at the Coconut Beach House after staying in the duplex next door the past two times we have visited North Topsail Island. Both properties are wonderful, but the Coconut Beach House went the extra mile with having an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, including all the basic supplies, from cooking oil to dish detergent to paper towels. Totally unexpected, but also quite nice, was to find hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner in all of the bathrooms, as well as a hair dryer. The closets had ample hangers and there was plenty of storage space in each bedroom. The nightstands in each bedroom included a multi-port charging station. And there was laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided in the utility room. Bottom line is that this house included many things that are not standard in other vacation rentals which made it extra special and extremely convenient. The house itself sits right on the beach so the waves are literally right outside your window/door. And every balcony has chairs, and the middle balcony even has a dining table with chairs. There is also a wall of hooks on the ground floor with a beach towel on each hook for the guests to use. I think this house is perfect for anyone who is having to fly into the area given that one can pack much lighter since so many amenities are provided by the hosts. I definitely would stay here again and our family would need to bring one less suitcase because everything is already here!
