"Freezer Hostel is a combination of hotel rooms and hostel/camping accommodations. It has an artsy vibe and good shared amenities including a kitchen and a very welcoming common area where they host live music and other events on weekends. We cannot speak to the rooms at the property itself because our room was not available upon arrival due to an electricity issue. While this was poorly communicated before our arrival, the host more than made up for this by being super helpful when we arrived and by housing us in an alternative apartment around the corner that was definitely an upgrade from the single room with private bath we had booked. The staff were so friendly and I wish we would have had time to come back to the hostel to enjoy their events but we were always too tired from touring. I would return to this property in a heart beat. It seems like a very warm and inviting place to stay."

"What an incredible property! We stayed in the triple room which was spacious, clean and organized. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating (especially breakfast). The hot springs were glorious and while I didn’t cold plunge in the pond, others did and it was scenic and wonderful. "
