Family trip

Nice place to stay. Have to be creative though to sleep 16 as listing states. 'Hot tub' in in listing is actually a jacuzzi in bathroom. Beautiful setting.

Beautiful, Peaceful Cabin with Great Location – Highly Recommend!

Our stay at this cabin was fantastic! The property was beautifully maintained, spacious, and perfect for our family. One of our favorite moments was enjoying morning coffee on the porch while watching the horses—it was such a peaceful experience. The location was excellent, offering easy access to Mammoth Cave and some great local restaurants. We highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Great place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful with questions about the area, and very understanding when we arrived late due to traveling through bad weather. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice home for family getaway

My children,grandchildren and I planned a family vacation in the area. We enjoyed our stay here and the kids loved the horses! The home was a reasonable distance from all the attractions we wanted to visit.

Peaceful country stay

Great stay. Easy drive to Mammoth Caves. House had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the cows, horses, birds and weather. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Family getaway

Great home for a family getaway. My wife, 4 teenagers had a great time and this home was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and well decorated as well as very clean. Host was fantastic and met all our needs. Location was good as we were close to Mammoth Cave and the National Corvette Museum. Many other nice attractions also. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone with a family, absolutely enjoyed the stay!

Weekend Family Trip

We had a great time. Absolutely great place to stay. The kids loved the horses, they were able to run and play and not bother anyone. Jade was very quick in responding.

Beautiful home for a convenient stay

We stayed at the farmhouse for a couple days while visiting mammoth cave national park. House was very spacious, had all the amenities. Was a short 20 minute drive to the national park, making it a comfortable and convenient base. Communicating with the owner was very efficient. Everything was perfect for our stay,

Mammoth cave weekend getaway

Great house! Very peaceful. Just a short distance from main highway and a small grocery store. Host was great with communication. We visited Mammoth Cave and Nashville during this visit. Our only complaint was the deposit took the "allowed" 4 weeks to be returned.

Peaceful

Jade’s house was spacious and relaxing, and still close to lots of places to explore nearby. Our host was very communicative and even let us meet and feed her horses on the farm. Beds were so soft and cozy, and the living and dining areas were open and comfortable for a larger family to spread out. Definitely recommend if you want beautiful views in a relaxing atmosphere that’s not far from nearby attractions.

Jade is an amazing host!

Our family group included a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old and Jade made sure we had a high chair, booster seat, and safety measures appropriate to those ages. The house was just as advertised and perfect for the 7of us. We were grateful for Jade’s suggestions regarding area attractions, given our little ones and our lack of familiarity with the local scene. The kids loved watching the horses grazing in pastures close to the house too. We had a terrific visit.

Great RETREAT

Our group came for a retreat with church and found the house was perfect for our stay! We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful views. There was plenty of parking and a large deck. We cooked on the grill and enjoyed the deck. The owner was sure to make sure we had enough beds and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our one complaint we need to stay longer next time! Thank you again for everything!

Clean, Convenient, Quiet

This home was perfect for our group of 10. The wrap around porch offers scenic views, everything we needed to cook and grill and sleep (except for one air mattress which the owner replaced the next day) was on site and in great shape. It’s a convenient drive to Western Kentucky University, Mammoth Cave, and the Corvette Museum. The owner was a very good communicator beginning with my early inquiries until well after our stay making sure I got my deposit back.

Close to Mammoth Cave

We stayed here for 4 nights during spring break. It is pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog. The owner met us upon arrival and stayed in the apartment in the horse barn out back. The house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The master bedroom is on the main level. The two extra bedrooms, and a bathroom, are in the lower level. We were close to Mammoth Cave and Bowling Green. We also enjoyed a fun day with the kids at Ralphie's Fun Center in Glasgow. We would highly recommend this place.

After staying in B&B'S over many years our friends recommended Jade's property. It was our 1st time using Homeaway. I highly recommend both Homeaway and this home. The whole experience was a delight! The house was just as advertised. Clean, comfortable and relaxing even with 18 of us in our group. The owner was very hospitable. She was great to make sure we were happy with everything. We were preparing to cook on the grill when finding the gas tank had been emptied. She replaced it in under 15 minutes. With a great stay & perfect customer service we are planning to do this annually. Thank you so much!

Relaxing, fun, comfortable

The property itself was beautiful and relaxing. The house was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Jade was very accommodating and followed up promptly with all questions asked. She was friendly and easy to work with. She allowed my 16 year old daughter, who has riding/Equestrian experience, groom the horses in the barn. Our boys had a baseball tournament nearby and this was the perfect location to relax between games. It was far enough away from town to give you the country feeling, yet close enough to local entertainment. We even drove an hour away to see a star-filled concert at the Grand Ole Opry during CMA week! We had a great experience staying at Log Cabin Horse Farm!

Gorgeous, relaxing, cozy, and great customer service

We had a wonderful time staying at Jade and Angelo's cabin. They have excellent customer service from communication, ensuring the property is ready, check-in and check-out process, and ensuring we are comfortable during our stay. The property and the location is very peaceful and relaxing. It's around 20-25mins away to Mammoth Cave, 30mins to Nolin River, and an hour away from Nashville so we were able to do both nature and bar activities during our 4 day stay. The cabin is so nice and cozy. It is well maintained and has all the amenities we need. We had the chance to chat with the nice and friendly owners! We had a great family time at night relaxing by the camp fire and made smores. The mornings are my favorite... it was a great experience to unplug, relax in the hammock with a cup of coffee watching the lush greenery and the beautiful horses as the sun rises. I highly recommend this place!!!

We had so much fun!

When we arrived we were surprised & delighted with the house. It was even better than the pictures. The ambiance is perfect! I want a house like this for my own! The layout is perfect as you walk thru the doors you have a great view of the barn and outdoors. The layout is really awesome as it really gives a lot of space. With a group of 12 we didn't feel the least bit crowded. The bedrooms were all very spacious and private. The owner was really a delight. We loved the horses and had the chance to see them shooting a Hallmark Movie UNCOMMON GRACE on the property! It was as if we landed on another planet. We can't wait to see it when it comes out next year!! Thank you for sharing this awesome experience and place with us!!

Dirty house, overgrown yard and landscaping and owner stays in barn when at house.

Owner lives in house and moves 50 yards out back into barn with her dog when you stay there. She never tells you this. House is dusty and dirty with dog hair throughout. Yard wasn't mowed and landscaping was all overgrown. Nothing like pics. It is not relaxing when you look out window to see your landlord in backyard tinkering around. Felt like we were watched the entire trip. Save your money go elsewhere.

The house was clean, and had what we needed.

Jade was great, she kindly answered all my email questions with helpful detail. The house is nice, but I did drop a half-star for the fact we were seemingly and unknowingly moving right into the owner's home and personal space, and the decor and personal items were present, making us feel a bit odd, (like possibly the coffee etc we were using is whatever she hadnt yet used). I dropped another half-star for the description on the VRBO site stating the home sleeps 14, and it technically does counting the hide-a-bed in the master suite and another in the living room, and two air mattresses, for which there is little space to inflate. (My family of eight had a little difficulty finding confortable space for everyone). I just want guests who are potentially staying there to get an accurate picture of what they will find, then go prepared (with these and the details in other reviews) and have a great stay! ~Grant, Northern Indiana
