Lovely place to stay!

I so enjoyed my stay at your wonderful little guest house! So clean, quiet, and serene country setting! The hosts were wonderful and welcoming, I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely stay there again if I come up for another clinic :)

Relaxing stay close to lots of area attractions.

This property is very relaxing with a beautiful view. The owners are very friendly too. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and listening to the sounds of nature. The house was clean and well maintained.

Mamoth Cave Vacation

This property was absolutely charming. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Chris was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the view. The cottage was close to Mammoth Cave and there was a Buckee's just down the road. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cute and well stocked cottage!!

We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed and was such a nice place to come back to after exploring mammoth caves! It was only a short 25 min drive to the park! We enjoyed the yard for our young kids to run around it and the farm fresh eggs were a nice touch!

I absolutely fell in love with this little cottage as soon as I walked through the door. The hosts, Chris and Chuck were very friendly and welcoming and have created a beautiful little slice of heaven to share with others. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and i hope to visit again with my children to enjoy the area and the farm scenery. Definitely one of the best ABNB I've been to!

Great spot near Mammoth Cave National Park!

Quiet country cottage close to Mammoth Cave. Beautiful location with host living in the adjacent house. Beds were comfortable and place was clean. We had a great time sitting out on the patio one evening when the weather was cool. Close enough to grocery stores, restaurants, and Mammoth Cave to be convenient, but nicely quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

My family of 5 plus our Golden retriever had a very nice stay at Chuck and Chris’s cottage. The view was beautiful, the cottage was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with all the necessities and then some. It was a 20 minute drive to Mammoth Cave and 20 minutes to Bowling Green Kentucky. We got to see a lot in our short visit and enjoyed coming back to the cottage to rest. We hope to visit again.

Fabulous host

We came to spend a few days in Bowing Green and at Mammoth Cave. It was pretty warm outside so we spent more time in the rental than we expected to. It was comfortable and welcoming.

Home away from home

My family stayed a few days while our home was being renovated. Hosts were onsite, took care of anything we needed. Our two dogs enjoyed exploring the rolling hills and appreciated the dog bed and toy provided. House was clean and comfortable for a short getaway. Strong wifi allowed me to work from home successfully while there.

Great cottage

We stayed 3 nights with our grandchildren. Everything was great. The fresh eggs were an unexpected bonus. The hosts were friendly and helpful but not obtrusive. It is off the main roads in a rural setting.

This immaculate, beautifully maintained property felt like home from the minute we walked in. It was peaceful and featured amazing views. The location was very convenient to get to a wide array of parks, museums, distilleries, wineries, antique shops and so much more. All the amenities were there. The furniture was in great shape and very comfortable, as were the beds. Definitely one of the best properties we've been to & a real bargain!

Family vacation

Spring break 2024. The house was Clean, bathroom and kitchen were stocked! The house was decorated so cute. My 12 yr old asked if we could come back sometime. The gazebo was a great place to sit and relax. It was easy to drive and find mammoth caves and other attractions.

Chris and her husband were so friendly and responded quickly to our questions and even turned on the lights since we came in late. Such a cute cottage with all the things you need. They have chickens and left us eggs for breakfast! t is about 15 minutes from Barren River

Kentucky Backroad Motorcycle Trip

The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay. It was as comfortable as being at home. They made room for our small trailer in the driveway and we were able to easily load and unload our bikes in the driveway. Property is amazing, enjoyed afternoons on the covered patio. Property is close to all amenities and recreation and the sport bike riding in the area is second to none.

Welcoming cottage in a great location

Highly recommended! Chris and Chuck were amazing hosts. The cottage is very welcoming, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated for the season. It was stocked with everything you could need, the fresh eggs were a nice treat. It was great for our family of 5. We spent a lot of time outside and sitting under the gazebo with a fire. The cottage is nicely located 20-30 minutes from most cave attractions and Bowling Green. The hilly winding roads give a great southern feel. We would love to stay again if we were in the area. Simply Wonderful

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay here was. The rental is absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. Chris went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - there were fresh eggs along with cucumbers and tomatoes from her garden waiting for us when we arrived. She also left a dog bed, a dog toy, and treats for our "fur baby". She checked in with us when we got there to make sure we had everything we needed but then was completely respectful our of privacy. We weren't sure how it would work staying so close to the owners but we had absolutely nothing to worry about! And to top it all off, the beds were soooo comfy! Definitely will be visiting here again!

Perfect getaway, amazing hometown hospitality!

We absolutely loved our short stay here!! The cottage is perfect. First, Chris (and Chuck) is the BEST host! She goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed and informed. The farm fresh eggs from Chris’ chickens made our time feel like being back home on our farm. Due to significant traffic on our drive, we arrived much later than expected. Chris noticed this and made sure that the lights were on and the door unlocked for us. The cottage is very spacious with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds great. The seasonal decorations just added to our delightful travels to Smiths Grove! We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Great Place to Vacation

We had a great time staying in Smiths Grove! The reason we chose this property was the location, close to Bowling Green, and the reasonable price. It has all the comforts of home. Our fur babies were comfortable, too. The kitchen is fully stock with dishes, kid's dishes, serving bowls non-stick pans, bakeware, blender and toaster. The towels, both kitchen and bath, were good quality. The seasonal decorations were nice. A firepit was added during our stay, which we enjoyed. The owners, Chris and Chuck are friendly, helpful and respectful. There were issues with the wifi and the grill but they were resolved. We will stay again when in the area. The Owens Family

Great place

A beautifully decorated home, 2BD 1Bath with total laminate flooring ( pretty) which is great for being pet friendly. The well manicured property is several acres, with lots of room for strolling around outside. Nice covered deck with fire pit and gas grill. Friendly owners live next door- they provide anything you might need, but the home is extremely well stocked. They have brochures at the house available for most activities- We went to Mammoth Cave - 30 minutes away- I would advise booking your tours before going if possible. They sell out quickly and you can be left with nothing to do for several hours waiting on your tour. Another note- if you are planning to leave a dog with a sitter, be sure to bring immunization papers. We drove to Bardstown for the day. ( little over an hour by interstate) It's a fun historic town, bourbon capitol, with neat shopping and restaurants.
