"Our family of five had a magical week at Missy’s charming cottage on the bay! Highlights for us were the incredible view, gorgeous beach, and proximity to an excellent crabbing spot. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and well-appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Missy was an excellent and gracious host, quick to help us out when I accidentally misplaced the entry instructions upon arrival. Highly recommend, and already looking forward to our next stay!"

"My husband and I visited Smith Island for the first time for a two night stay. The house is clean and adorable and the owner goes out of her way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. A golf cart is all charged up for you to enjoy trips around the island. Bicycles are provided for you to ride too. Coffee Keurig cups, filtered water in the frig, and even bug spray are provided in case you forgot to bring yours. From arriving on the ferry to our trip back to Crisfield we encountered friendly people. We had to have the crab cakes and famous Smith Island Cake of course! The sunsets were beautiful. This trip was a perfect getaway. We plan to come back!"

"Dusty walls; many, many marks and stains on floor, walls, and woodwork. Parking in front of rooms full of cigarette butts and small trash. Price was cheap but definitely not worth the bargain. Needs extensive deep cleaning and repainting."

"We had a great experience at the cottage on the river! Monica was very helpful with suggestions and extremely receptive with our questions and concerns. It is obvious they want their guests to have an amazing vacation. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and with all of the toys/games provided, there's no need to venture out much at all! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!"

"Awesome stay all around. The weather was rainy but we made the best of it. The cabin had tv and board games. The Ingram Bay Marina setting was nice and we had a great view of the moon over the bay on our last night. Plenty to do nearby as well. The hosts were friendly and helpful."

"The house is wonderful. The hosts are fabulous. We had a small family and friends gathering for my son's graduation from college while we were there that was perfect largely due to the many indoor and outdoor activities provided by the hosts at the Hideaway. The hosts couldn't be nicer or more helpful and communicative beginning even before we rented the house and throughout our stay even letting us know about a newly scheduled opportunity in the area that they thought we might find interesting. We highly recommend the Hideaway."
