"We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kendallville for over 60 days during one of the hardest periods our family has ever faced, and I will never forget the kindness we received here. This hotel became so much more than a place to sleep. In many ways, they saved us. The manager is genuinely one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever encountered. He treated us like human beings, not just another room number, and deserves every bit of recognition in the world. And the housekeeping staff — I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They put so much love, care, and attention into what they do. Our room was always clean, the details were noticed, and more importantly, we were noticed. They took the time to care about us as people. When your life feels dark, you remember the people who chose to be a light in it. I love and miss the staff here and will never forget the compassion they showed our family. Thank you, Comfort Inn Kendallville, for giving us kindness, dignity, comfort, and a safe place when we desperately needed one. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. ❤️"

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of items to eat. It's a large facility that requires a fair amount of walking if you have mobility issues. They have an additional pool under construction."

"To be a Amish or Mennonite hotel the night desk person dressed and acted very much like a harlot. She had a very short dress on and was sitting behind the counter in a recliner with her legs spread wide open when I walked in. Very unprofessional and disrespectful to the Amish and Mennonite culture and to any respectable lady that walks in with her husband. One should not be a stumbling block to other peoples husbands just because one has no respect or proper manners. Unacceptable. The food was alll out of a can or precooked. Gross. The room was great and comfortable and the location was just right. The beautiful gazebo was a sad storage area for new mini fridges and could not be used as a amenity. It would have been nice to use. Maybe this hotel needs a storage building for maintenance. Staff uniforms or dress codes with no short skirts or low cut blouses would be professional. English, Amish or Mennonites should not dress like harlots. The food. Try Mrs B’s biscuits from Walmart. Much better. How about homemade white gravy. Thats easy to make in a crock pot. Eggs… just make breakfast casserole. Simple and can be served in squares. Next Biblical principals are a must. Thanks"

"We had a multi family weekend away and it was perfection! We did not want to leave! The lake, the house the location were all top notch! The kids all loved having the 3rd floor to have a big slumber party. The parents enjoyed having a big comfy bedroom for each couple and the kitchen and kitchenette were perfect for all the food we brought and enjoyed. We absolutely reccomend this home for large family gatherings. David was an excellent host and very easy to get ahold of. Thank you again!!!"
