"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. "I thought the rooms were nice but our room was right above a motor of some sort that every time it started the bearings were very loud. Also, there are 8 parking spots in a very small lot. We had to park about 1/2 a kilometer away and pay for parking. The food was good and the staff was very helpful."

"I’m not deducting a star for the rather unpleasant member of staff in the bar last night (Sunday 10.45pm ) However, it’s worth mentioning as management need to stub it out before it affects ratings. Unhelpful, unpleasant and came across as quite rude. It’s a shame as one of the duty managers made our drinks the previous evening and he was friendly and helpful throughout our interaction with him. The cocktail he made me was excellent. One of the best I’ve had. The hotel is lovely and well located, albeit parking is a nightmare. By all means park outside to offload passengers and luggage - you’ve got a maximum of 20 mins. You need to either park in the public car park 100yds away (chargeable) or at the Glasshouse underground car park (€12 per night) located nearby. The hotel has a few spaces but they’re always taken. I would assume by the guests from high end rooms. Our basic room was nice but a bit small and the shower cubicle was really tiny. All that said, we enjoyed our stay."

"The place is right next to the train station so it was easy to find. Especially if this is your first time to Sligo. It is a nice quiet street but near to the main area. Very walkable. The quirkiness to the place is the bathroom is one level down from the rooms so if you get up at night it can be tricky navigating the Irish stairs (steeper than US). Lovely place and would do it again."
