"Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway."
"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and laughed about it later.
The resort itself was beautiful, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. The cabins were cozy and warm, as we were there in February/March when it was cold, and the exterior bath house was also very warm. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water.
I highly recommend if you're looking to escape into nature."
"This was a great overnight vacation experience. I love the whole concept, and the environment was peaceful and restful. To those needing more entertainment you’re gonna find the lack of TV lacking. For me, though I was able to watch movies with the free Wi-Fi and my computer. I also wanted to warn those of you who might be on a two wheel motorcycle that the parking downhill in gravel was a little challenging. I would definitely recommend this experience. "

"We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect size for our family and very convenient to the ski slopes at Snowshoe, as well as some shops and restraints at Snowshoe Village. The scenery was beautiful and host was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!"
"We arrived for a weekend of fun at the VRBO we rented. The house was beautiful and inviting. We enjoy family game nights and there were brand new board games and a nice bunch of welcoming snacks and beverages. We all enjoyed our trip very much. "
