Cosy south facing sunny cottage Ballylickey, Bantry - on the Wild Atlantic Way
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, 75 reviews
"Hosted by the loveliest people, we adored our stay here. We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. Our hosts put the picnic table out when the weather got warm and stopped by to see us on our way and really made us feel like part of the family!"

"Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. "We travelled to Castletownbere from our home in Dorset to meet up with an old friend - we are pushing 80 so most of our friends are old! We hired a car at Dublin Airport and travelled to this delightful town in SW Ireland. It is a fishing port and the smaller trawlers mostly fish locally while the large ones fish further out in the Atlantic - brave men indeed. Sadly, most were in port unable to fish on account of quota restrictions. The town I found most interesting and we enjoyed fantastic...
