"We looked forward to this trip the past year and it did not disappoint. The location and view is absolutely beautiful. We took full advantage of the sauna to lake plunge daily. The kids loved the beach/water and looking for turtles around the house. Other than food and drink basically everything you need is supplied. We only left 1 time to go into town for the farmers market on Friday afternoons. Great trip!"

"Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!"

"We can’t say enough great things about our stay! Sweet home with AMAZING views, very clean, comfy beds, original artwork fills the home, great hostess - very attentive, so much to see and do! We spent our week exploring nature and saw a moose, wolves, lots of eagles, osprey, hummingbirds, deer, and a lot of birds! Amazing! We WILL be back!"

"My son got married in the area and we booked the cabin to stay at. It was incredibly close to all of the wedding festivities which was great! We were pleasantly surprised with the views and coziness of the cabin. I would highly recommend staying here as it looked like it have everything for a family to enjoy a week of fun. Given the nature of our trip we really weren’t able to spend much time there but the time we did spend at the cabin was very enjoyable."
