Skaneateles Carriage House - Walking Distance to Village of Skaneateles

The Carriage House is close to the village of Skaneateles and its beautiful lake. While several restaurants and Mirbeau Spa are right across the street, we're roughly a 5-10 minute walk to all other restaurants, shops, grocery store; as well as a short drive to wineries, distilleries, hiking, etc. Great for couples, groups, and families. Washer and drier in the unit. Outdoor grill and an acre of private land available.

Comfortable linens and towels provided, kitchen stocked with lots of basic ingredients. The cottage-feel will settle you right into vacation mode!

It is a very private, second-floor, 1,000 sq ft apartment. Master bedroom queen bed sleeps 2. Guest bedroom with two twin beds sleeps 2. Sleeper sofa in living room sleeps 2.

***We also have a beautiful first floor studio add-on unit for two more guests, if upstairs guests need more space - please inquire with Kate for pricing and photos!***

One dog or cat is welcome upon approval. However, we request a $30/night pet fee to be paid upon arrival or prior. Please inquire with Kate.

We enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for our weekend. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and was warm and inviting. Beds were comfortable, it was nice to have a parking spot just for us, there was plenty of hot water in the shower - just perfect!

Quick Spring Break Getaway

We wanted to get away for a couple of days for Spring Break somewhere close and new to us. The Carriage House was the perfect home base as we explored Skaneatles. Kate was incredibly responsive and provided helpful info about the area. The property was comfortable and well appointed. We felt at home and the location couldn't have been better - close to everything!

Quaint and cozy getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cute Carriage House. Everything was as described in the listing. We really appreciated having a kitchen and laundry. We also appreciated the owners plowing for us and making sure we had a safe way to get in.

The accommodations were tastefully decorated and furnished. The expansive backyard was a favorite for our dog. The property owner was very responsiveness to our needs. Convenient location to shops and restaurants.

Birthday getaway

Comfortable, clean, and well appointed carriage house within walking distance to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Quiet location as the carriage house is located at the back of the property with a nice happy hour porch overlooking a large yard, which our dog enjoyed. We appreciated Kate and Sebastian's attentiveness during our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location! Feels Like Home!

The Carriage House sits on a beautiful property with a back balcony porch overlooking. The hosts were excellent; easy communication. When the power went out briefly due to a storm, they immediately brought over extra flashlights and even a multiple phone charger pack. A nice easy walk into town. Great stay!

Exactly what we needed

In town for a wedding, my family was staying across the street at the Mirbeau. It was hard for us to justify three nights and two rooms (teen boys) there. This was perfect for us. I would not hesitate to recommend it, or book it again ourselves.

very cozy place for a weekend getaway

We walked from the Carriage House to the center of Skaneateles with our dog. We got takeout dinner from a local restaurant and brought it back to the house to enjoy. The house had very modern appliances. Our dog enjoyed the large back yard.

I would definitely stay at this property again. It was like my own quiet little sanctuary. I had everything I needed and on warmer days walked into town. The host was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with the basic cooking necessities which I fully utilized.

Lovely Carriage house

We had a great stay at the Carriage house beginning with easy check in and instructions from with our host. This cozy, comfortable house sits on a beautiful private backyard with fantastic trees and views. The location is perfect for walking to town and restaurants. A nice deck area makes for a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day. We would definitely like to return.

Perfect Space for a family

My husband, our 3 little kids, and my mother in law stayed here for the weekend of the eclipse. The carriage house was the perfect little space for us, with everything you could need to be comfortable. The hosts were super nice, very considerate, and provided an awesome personal guide to the town.
