It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "We were given a room in an annex building with was fine. The mattress was a double, not a queen as was indicated when I booked. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, but we made do. My husband is 6’5 and a big guy, so being in a double when we usually sleep in a king was challenging. The shower was patched with duck tape, and there was a mildew, mold and sewage smell when the hot water was on. It did make the room smell after use. The bathroom could use some hooks for wet towels...
