"Beautiful location. Very cheap accommodations. Not as advertised. Rooms were terrible. Bathrooms were clogged and no one could fix them. Food was bad. It’s like management has given up on the place. I would visit for a day but not spend the night. We paid $360 EUROS for this place and I feel so ripped Off!! "
"Das vielseitige, fantasievolle, abwechslungsreiche und superleckere Frühstück, das auf dem Zimmer serviert wurde (vllt weil wir in der Vorsaison da waren). Der große, gut möblierte Balkon. Der sehr zuvorkommende Zimmerservice. Das Spa. Der Pool war noch nicht befüllt Ende März, dafür gab es mehr kostenfreie Spa-Zeit.
Die Betten sind sehr gut, das Zimmer, obwohl kleinste Kategorie, sehr groß und mit vollständiger Küche. Alle Menschen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. "

"We enjoyed this hotel immensely and highly recommend it! This hotel has a wonderful breakfast with a wide selection of food options to suit everyone's tastes and with a beautiful view of the beachfront. Free parking was across the hotel entrance with a huge area to park. We did daily day trips to explore Crete, and there were always parking spots available when we returned at the end of the day. We chose this hotel due to the beautiful views from the balconies, the cleanliness, and the parking. We easily would walk for a leisurely walk into Old Town in 15 minutes. Even taking a taxi was very cheap which we did on way back one evening. The rooms were modern, clean and towels changed every day. The front desk staff were so polite and catered to all of our needs. The owner Mr, Stelios also greeted us and took us to our rooms and explained how the air conditioner worked, where all the amenities were. We enjoyed seeing him everyday! Their pool is amazing, and the pool deck with a beautiful beachfront view had an amazing bar for drinks and food. The bar person is very nice and works hard getting drinks and food ready for your order. Loved the pool area with the sun loungers and perfect views! This hotel will not disappoint at all. We had our two sons and their girlfriends with us, so we had 3 rooms in total and everybody enjoyed Archipelogos hotel. We surely would stay here when we go back to Rethymnon. We had an awesome stay! "I would not rate this property 4 stars. The ‘all inclusive’ was very limited. The dining area is very small with only a few choices at meal times. The walk to the beach was unpleasant. The hotel is on a noisy main road. I think the pictures are not a realistic reflection of how the hotel looks"
"Hotel about 1km out of the old centre of town. Hotel is on many levels and has a large swimming pool and several other small ones. Stayed in a superior room with seaview (over the tops of the buildings in front). Room was a nice size although shower room quite small. Tea and coffee making facilities in room including a fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options are excellent with a wide choice. We used hotel as a base for touring but if you stayed on site plenty to keep you occupied. Car parking is chargeable but the road at the back between the hotel and the 5 star Minos ambassador is quiet, safe and free! There is a fixed menu in the evening for 19€ but if you don’t fancy that there are plenty of good dining options locally especially along the front. There is a supermarket less than 200yds away. I would recommend this hotel."
