Super cute place once I found it. The tools are located above a tiny grocery store and I hadn’t realized that. Don’t let the store deter you from booking. I arrived around 8, it was closed. Parking lot of 4-6 spaces were empty. All good, very quiet and peaceful. Very nice area right by the water. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 is that there was NO ONE else booked in the entire place and I did not have a room facing the water? Had I, I would have had a stunning view of the water and sunset probably. I had to go in the kitchen area to watch the sunset.

Booked for a 1 night stay, double room, August 06 2026. [Check-in - NO STAFF, you receive your access code and room number through private messaging when you log into ExpediaForTD despite the term "email" being used for access code. Did not receive an email with access code. If you are booking through ExpediaForTD you will need to accept your cellular provider roaming charge to be able to log into the website to get your access code. ExpediaForTD will NOT reimburse you for roaming charges. To check your message, select contact property, select message property. 0/5] [Room - small. Windows open partially. coat hanging spots, TV, EU style plug-in by the head board, plus USB C x 2 on each side next to the EU style F type plug-in. Bed comfortable, two small twins put together. Towels and hand towels provided. 3.5/5] [Bathroom - sink, toilet, shower, no shampoo/conditioner/body wash as described, hand soap. Easy to use, clean. 5/5] [Shared kitchen - coffee maker espresso style, kettle, microwave, 1 pairing knife, spoons, forks, butter knife, cups, bowls, no cutting board, toaster. 2.5/5] [Wifi - password in messages along with your access code and room number. Did not use] [Check-out - Easy, no communication required 5/5]

Good but issue with communication

New guesthouse very comfortable in this small village. Only problem is that booking with hotels.com, I was not provided with the entry code, the room numbers, the room codes and not even a correct phone number… arriving late in the rain with tired kids was not pleasant. Somehow guests opened to us and gave us a number to call.

Het feit dat er geen kookplaat was, is niet zo handig. Gelukkig hadden we zelf een electrische 2-pitskookplaat bij. In Hofsós is immers geen eetgelegenheid.De kamer zelf was heel proper, maar er was niet veel plaats naast het bed.
