"Property was beautiful. There is a picturesque waterfall just behind the building. Had some hiking trails there as well. Room was clean and modern and nicely furnished. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We had dinner there one night and the food was fabulous. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The property was convenient for our trip to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon as well."
"A great hotel within walking distance to the glaciers. The overall hotel is peaceful and surrounded by raw beauty.
All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms comfortable and clean. The restaurant was outstanding and we had a great dinner and breakfast during our visit. Ample parking available.
My only regret is we didn't stay for an extra night at the hotel. Would highly recommend visiting Hotel Skaftafell! "
"Their pictures do not do justice. We loved this hotel!!! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, modern, and the sheets so soft. They had a restaurant and bar. Close to the Skaftafell National Park, and breakfast was amazing, lots of selections. "
