The hotel was very full during our stay. The gym could be larger and better equipped, ideally with a water station offering cold water. ..."

"Nice character hotel - all clean and good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. A bit dated so walls thin and creaky floors with no blackout blinds, so not good for light sleepers. Nice to get hot drinks any time and fruit, cakes in the afternoon but can’t make a drink in your room…."

"Lovely historic property in a beautiful, peaceful and quiet area. The staff were lovely and helpful and the room was large and very comfortable. Did not have a chance to try the spa, but it looked really nice as well. Highly recommended."
